I'm back to using CTMod because I do like to have gps for stuff like My Tracks. But I am still testing these roms. I just won't wipe the sd card.

Gonna be interesting to see what LG has to say about the phone. If they get it to power up w/o wiping it first they are gonna get a big ole glimpse of a themed out MIUI ROM! lmao OUCH!!:eek::eek::eek: One of the first things they'll do is probably wipe it though. I HOPE! :D:D:D:p:p:p;)

I'll let you guys know what's up as soon as I hear something from them. Hopefully a brand new phone will show up in the mail. Not looking forward to rooting that bitch though. :rolleyes::D Oh well, whatever happens happens. I'm just gonna roll with it.

Received email confirmation that LG accepted mt phone today. Hopefully I'll have it back soon.
 
I am loving this rom! It is super smooth and the themes and customization options seem to be endless. Thank you so much. I have wanted to try this out since I first saw it on xda!
 
i keep reading around that the MIUI gets incredibly bad battery life. Is this true with this release?

I like ctmod becuase of the battery life. what should i except from switching over when this is more stable?

its not bad. my phone's been off the charger for 5 hours and 30 mins and its at 86%.

thats with the cpu at 220/1360/ondemandx and using tapatalk/gmail for a while.
 
has anyone on sprint tested mms to see if it worked alright?

I'm working on getting mms fixed for boost on stock app, but as a temp fix GoSMS works for downloading mms's.

I'm on Sprint and both SMS & MMS work with the stock app and Handcent. Great job for an Alpha release.
 
I am on Sprint and SMS and MMS work without issue. Thanks for looking into my video problem blood.
 
Thing are running good here so far as well...thank you. I'm absolutely loving the battery life.
 
For some reason this rom is very sluggish and getting several random reboots. It actually rebooted into recovery once. This is on the as855.
 
Just wanted to mention that the app juice defender causes the phone to reboot when trying to open it to set it up(maybe just me, who knows). Not a big deal though I just deleted it.

same problems here, actually i need juice defender, it really help me

i have a problem about the network, if my phone idle for some time the i use the network for browsing it said that the network is not connected, after reboot it becomes normal again but after idle i get the problem again.

maybe it just me, in my place both 3g and 1x signals are so poor,
 
I have been looking into my video playback problem and it seems that this is quite common in MIUI V4. I have tried a few software players and although they get a little farther they all have problems and I get the error Sorry this video cannot be played back. I also tried VLC Direct and Plex to see if I could get streaming to work as VLC Direct has the option to use an external player but still no luck. It looks like MIUI does not have the codecs installed in the rom to enable playback. (Correct me if I'm wrong) That is why you need a software decoder such as media player installed.

I wouldn't release it if it would brick anyones phone. and you can always go to CWM and restore a backup or flash a different rom if you don't like it.

I'm gonna look into it today, been too busy to do it the past few days.
 
No worries. I just restored back to CTMOD. This rom is amazing and when it gets out of the alpha stage I am sure it will be what I use. Thanks for looking at it though blood.

Interesting. I have found that if I am on Wi-Fi, when I switch back to 3g it says I am connected but no data flows. Let me know if you would like a log at.
 
Flashed MIUI. Tried adding google act. No luck. Auto rotate not working. When toggled it phone rebooted. Not sure if this a Known issue. Jus helpin yall get this fully functional. This is awesome. Like how MIUI ui is setup. But also like cm9. Downloading AOKP testing now. Love tryin out these new roms Im learning more and more bout android.

both of those work fine. did you restore anything after you flashed it? if not then you must of had a bad flash.

Ya did not restore anything dont think i can restore gb apps to ics or the like can i? New to titanium backup. Have it jus not installed Haha will reflash later.

This.is an awesome from like the diversity it provides versus the standard android From. That's said I'm curious is there anyway to reduce ram usage ? 75% of my ram is in use with not apps even in the recent apps list.
