Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Payed bill and back in buisness. I really should just cancel internet and use my phone. I would have to test my PS3 connection first.
 
Just wondering, there are a number of Galaxy Nexus phones for sale on the classifieds. Are people making room for the next Nexus phone?

Anyone familiar with a Droid X? My coworker thinks he has a virus of some sort. Said the other day he unlocked it and the "screensaver" as he put it was some sort of porn advert. :eek: Said he hadn't downloaded any apps lately but he does let his kids use it from time to time.
Well, he tried rebooting it but it hangs at the "Droid" animation. He's completely stock (not sure if on 2.3 or not). I did a few battery pulls and attempted to get into recovery but couldn't. I think part of it is a bad battery or it wasn't charged completely but he said it was on the charger all night. I'm kinda the resident Android freak at work so I'm hoping I can help him out.
Thoughts?
(btw, I'd ask in the DX forum, but seems to be pretty dead there)

Moto's don't like being below 5% charge, but this one is powering on. Hmmm... Let me dig up an RSD Lite tutorial. It will return it to factory. Everything will be lost however, IIRC, even what's on the SD card. You may want to take that put and do a backup on a machine with good av protection.:rolleyes:
 
Morning everyone! Kind of a big day for me. Got a phone interview at 3pm so I came in early to try and sneak out a tad early to take that. Not sure how much I am interested in the position right now, but it definitely doesn't hurt to find out more info.

Looks that way. Slightly disappointed in this season. No major hurricanes yet. I hate to see devestation and destruction, but I do love a good cat 5 spinning in the gulf...as long as it's back down to a 3 or 2 by landfall we're good, haha. Isaac just really isn't a well organized storm right now. Really love seeing that distinctly formed eye at the center.
 
Looks like I'm going to get 2 days and a solid 5 hours of screen on time out of my latest charge on my Nexus 7. Not bad folks. Not bad.

I had a DX, but I have no idea what could be going on there. I guess his warranty has expired, yes? Perhaps he's due for an upgrade?

Halon, that art-by-math/math-by-art nerdy doodle video completely destroyed any productivity I had at work this morning! And then it sucked in some of the other R&D guys and engineers as they came through our office. Thanks!

A forum I support got borked overnight and no notification to me. Good thing it's something small that I can do when I get home tonight. Don't have access to files here at work. Eek.

My girlfriend made me Star Wars cupcakes last night - they were amazing. Check it out!
