hey guys i have amon ra and decks 1.3 on my evo right now and am having tons of problems with apps and the play store and gps. i am just planning on doing a clean install of a rom, any suggestions on what rom? ive been thinking about decks reloaded, any good? should i stay with amon ra recovery? any certain kernels? any tips for a good clean install?

every rom will have a kernel included. so yes it has its own kernel. now which one will depend on the devs. i'm not really sure which one is included in the rom. most devs usually will just put in the stock kernel allowing you to flash a custom kernel of your choice. if they have added a special kernel then they most likely will say so in the op of the rom. please read everything in the op before proceeding.
 
ok thanks one last question. it is suggesting a new recovery in the thread, i would just flash the new recovery in recovery like normal to install?
