$55 Unlimited 4G LTE Data Promo

I am going to switch start of next month. One thing I been wondering cant u use the Google navigator instead of metro and its free?

I'm staying with my old $60 unlimited. I'm on Rhapsody, & like that I don't have my data on to listen to my music. & I prefer Google's navigation anyway. I also do Netflix, which kicks MetroStudio's ass. But that's me. Everyone has to choose what's best for them.

This is true. Everyone does different things on their phone. Luckily for me, the OLD $40 plan is amazing and I dont need any thing else.
 
Another important thing I didn't mention..if you wanna get the new $55 4G plan, you have to upgrade to a 4GLTE phone to be in the plan, even if you already have one. The $55 promotion started yesterday so if you upgrade your phone to any 4G phone starting yesterday, you'll be in the new plan. You can't just walk in to a store with your current 4G phone and ask for your plan to be lowered on that promo (although I wish it was that easy guys lol) So don't call or anything they won't help you :/ Since the motion came out the same day as the promotion, they want you to upgrade to the motion (decent upgrade) or any 4G phone to get the plan. Hope this clears some fog :)

Correct my friend :D technically, metronav is "discontinued" but they never charged you for that unless you're on a $50 plan or higher. The google nav is better and free.
 
You don't have to upgrade anything i switched from my grandfathered $60 unlimited but i had to keep telling him that there was a $55 unlimited cause he said they weren't in the computer yet but they switched it for me :thumbup:

This could turn out useful for those on family plan, assuming allowed--

this plan on one phone, add hotpspot $10 plan to other phone(cannot add hotspot to this one plan)...

Yeah, the latter not needed...but for $10 why not ensure no problems + support the carrier giving the best deal.
 
i switched today any1 new reading this the pakis and the arabs at metro tech support dont know shit just keep asking them to switch u to $55 plan till they do it.

It took me 3 phone calls lol Finally the 3rd rep did the switch gotta love metros customer service
 
lol also noticed they wiped my percentage after switching over i was like at 50% now im at 1% lol i thought changes were going to take into effect next billing cycle anyways im tethering like a felon the meter isnt moving so i guess its taken effect right away.
