No problem i wouldnt lie i have been reading since the first post never had and good info to share and thought this email might be something good...

cudos to you utip for handling the challenge from blue rocket so well and not responding defensively. he could've been a little softer at firing the shot considering it was your first post on the subject.

in case you haven't read some portions of this thread, there have been a couple of major skirmishes related to whether info posted was real or made up.

anyways, thanks for the info!

Ya know, for those following the release of the Moto Shadow the delay in Incredible release may be a blessing. Say the Incredible is released Mid-April, that allows a 30 day period for a Shadow release date to leak. Who knows, if the shadow DOES release in June it may be worth going back to an older phone for a couple of weeks thus avoiding the $35 Restock fee.

Yet another reason for Verizon to release the Incredible. I know there are a number of people who play this waiting game for the next big thing for months and apparently even years. But for those that have waited months or years if the next big thing is 6 weeks away, why wouldn't you wait.

Then again the Shadow could be pushed to September or later, but at least you have a steadier release of leaked info from some Motorola testers.

That and the fact that there have been multiple quality control issues with the N1 (also manufactured by HTC) with the Cracking screens, multitouch issues, and screen registering wrong touches as in the video above. Hopefully these will all be worked out, but none of these issues seem to be present in the Moto DROID.

I doubt they would delay that Shadow by that much if they did that they would either have both the Shadow and the Droid 2 come out around the same time or the Droid 2 would get pushed back into next year.

First time post here. I believe you...I just cant believe that they would actually say anything. Thats rediculous. Ive called corporate, local stores, emailed, chatted, and no one has even admitted that HTC is working on a phone with Verizon. LOL

No kidding. When I called my local VZW store and asked if they knew about the HTC Incredible, they confirmed they hadn't heard of an "ACC Incredible". Sheesh. I think it would be easier to steal govt secrets than to get a release date for this phone.

It may also be why if they intended to announce the Incredible at CTIA they delayed it. Had they announced it alongside the EVO everyone would have thought this is what Verizon was releasing to compete with the EVO. And Verizon probably knows that the Shadow is actually closer in comparison with its 4.3" Screen and HDMI.

Yeah I think they will release the Incredible in April and then release the Shadow in June to go against the EVO.

I cant believe they gave me that info too thats why i posted it maybe they are reading the forums and getting info from that like someone else mentioned.

So from what I can tell the info is true! utip sent me the emails which look legit to me!

Just very odd to me how one rep can send along some info, where nearly everyone else is hush-hush!

I wouldn't take it for much more than what it is...specs, i still don't see the release happening too quickly.

Either way, thanks for the info utip!

did you check the headers to see if they actually belong to verizon.. or what the routing of it looked like???

I hate to be a downer...but Im really wondering what we truly know about the incredible. Does it even exist? It seems like as soon as a rumor is released, the next rumor changes that info. Like going from a 5mp camera to an 8. Then the ram, and internal memory, then the color of the back of the phone. By all means, Im sure HTC is working with the worlds largest phone company, but I wonder what the true specs will be.

I am on Tmobile with the mytouch 3g (which even makes the devour look desirable haha) and I cannot wait to switch to verizon. Im just waiting on the N1 or Incredible.

The specs this guy sent included an AMOLED screen but I thought we'd "established" that the Incredible will have TFT. *sigh* oh yeah, I forgot--nothing "established" about any of this...just fun speculations, support, and humor. But I love it here... :)

Why on earth would you *sigh* about the Incredible being AMOLED? TFT is for the birds :p It will be a beautiful display. That and the battery life will be waaayy better than the EVO thanks to AMOLED.

The most solid evidence we have is video of the Inc booting with a Verizon logo in the boot script. Highly unlikely that this was spoofed.

Not exactly on topic but I got a note from a friend who works at Google that "word on the street is that the Nexus phone will support Verizon around May" which is consistent with the non-announcements of the last week.

Sorry to be your downer, but the 8mp camera was found out about 100 pages ago. The more ram was brought to our attention about 120 pages ago, and the Incredible is for sure real and getting close to release. Everyone here has done entirely way to much detective work, and we have Montana's 6300 box as well. So sit back, do some reading, and enjoy the ride like the rest of us.

To me, the most solid photographic evidence was the pic that NKT took of the phone the Verizon logo on the black backplate!

The phone exists. We have seen it. Several times.

The reason info keeps changing is for one or both of two reasons. First, there is so much secrecy surrounding this phone, it is hard for anyone close to the phone to explicitly release any information they have without losing their job. So we have to deduce for ourselves what the specs are from snippits of information here and there.

As to the changing design and hardware, by all accounts there are probably more than one model of test phone. Early reports were more likely based on a phone with specs lower than those that have recently been released.

Be patient, the phone will be out soon enough. As of right now, it looks like April is the month. Here's hoping...:)

Yeah I know we know all of that information. Ive known about it for months too. Believe me, I want to get off Tmobile as soon as possible. I just as hopeful as you are. I sure hope its soon! :)
