Root Stock Rom 2.3.6

Why can't someone take a 2.3.6 Rom from a LG Connect and make it work for the LG Esteem? can it be done?

Because they are 2 completely different devices. But could be done. There's really not much difference between 4 and 6. Half of the "updates" were for just a particular phone which was the nexus I believe

Well one thing its 2 different phone models and 2 different firmware . And that is what cm9 is so just wait it will be done . You can't flash any old rom on a phone it has source codes and what not that needs to meet with the use of the phone .:screwy::sly:

It's not like it was a Froyo to Gingerbread change. It's a minor update that most people wouldn't even notice. Irrelevant.

I'm all for trying to keep my phone up to date but only when its in the real of possibilities. Plus its not a major update so I wouldn't think too much about it. Focus your mindset towards ICS and CM9/CM10.
