Root #1? #2? #3? Whats with this?

As most of you know already... I'm a noob lol

I'm assuming its Kernel #... correct?

So if my assumptions are correct, this means I'm on #1...

Now... because I'm on #1, am I limited to certain ROMs and such... or does that come down to the fact that I'm on ZVD and need ZVD only ROMs?

Whats the difference between ZVD, ZVC and ZVB? I know when I first rooted my phone I had to get ZVD because the SW was unrootable?

I tried to research it a little bit, but honestly I got more confused because its hard to find info on this phone. I'm just trying to learn what all this stuff means. So I can avoid any mishaps in the future haha Thanks guys!

That's just the stock kernel. The name or version of the kernel. Cause if you try a different kernel it will say something else. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. :o

Well, lets say I wanted to upgrade my kernel, why would I want to do this..? What would be the benefit?

Also, lets say that I wanted to oh... idk, upgrade to ICS, not that I want to but is it even possible?
 
There are 3 kernels for ZVD stock modded kernel(IDriftas), Plague(Pg), Blitzkrieg(MT). PG and MTs kernel both allow overclock and other governors. While IDriftas kernel is a modded stock kernel(ZVD source) with minfree tweaks. Not overclockable. Since our phone os clocked at 1Ghz I don't see the need to overclock it as its already fast.

The modded over clock Kernels, you can over clock to higher frequency. And like PGs Kernels have his own edit thru out it.

You could upgrade to ICS..... If we had it :D doesn't exist fully for us yet

A ha! Gotcha... and I don't really wanna over clock, I heard its detrimental to the life of your phone if not done properly. Sure, I have insurance... but I'd rather not use it unless I need to! lol

Aww man! I still dont understand why our phones weren't dualies. I just got my mom the new Motion, and I guess its supposed to be dual... personally I don't see a difference and I actually dislike some of the 4.0 menus.

This was from my one posting, process com.android.systemui stopped unexpectedly - PROBLEM FIXED! It made me wonder ever since I seen it... and it finally ate at me to the point where I wanted to ask lol
