[Verizon] [ROM][JR003O][JB] Verizon Stock Leak - ROOTED w/Trinity Kernel

I've been curious, but is there any difference between this and all of the ROM builds out there right now (Xenon, JBSourcery, BAMF, etc...)?

Prepping to flash this now. Been on Jelly Belly, XenonHD, and AOKP JB builds, but there;s just always something nice about back to stock :)

Been on this for about a day now and this is the smoothest my phone has ever been, including AOKP (ICS and JB), XenonHD, and Jelly Belly. I flashed Franco r248 last night so we'll see how the battery life is.

What has changed in this since the original JB source that was released a couple months ago, on which all the current ROMs are based on?

this leak has the latest VZW firmware. The source that came out months ago was just that. Source code only.

So I flashed last night, and noticed the color is off, somewhat... its like really dark, sort of burnt look is how i'd describe it.

If it looks a little blueish to you, that's because the Trinity kernel dev (morfic) likes that color setting on his kernel. Honestly I love it. Trinity never gave me great performance or battery life, but I could never go back to the yellowish tinge of non Trinity kernels.

If that's not what you mean, then idk lol :-)

my phone has went to garbage. I can barely get a call in now without the mic cutting in and out..I thought i had it fixed with the headphone jack re router thingy app....but no.

So i can't really say if this is a good rom or not because i can't fairly judge it.

Even worse is i'm on travel overseas and it will be a couple of weeks before i can call VZW to get a replacement. ....

Is there any benefit to it as opposed to the source only?

that is a difference in opinion for most. Personally i always want the matching firmware with the matching build #. It could be a placebo effect but i think it allows the phone to run better. On the other hand also remember this is a test build so it's obvious that there are probably issues...if not then it would be going out to the masses.
