Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] n00b (B10 based) VIII.II FULL Install 1/23/2013

It's actually a little buggy once in a while, I might go back to es file explorer at some point, I found that this one needs to be opened once and navigated to the internal files then a reboot seems to get it all working properly, I still do see an occasional force close though

I always use root explorer or root browser anyway. I'm surprised anybody would complain about an app when they can download what they like best anyway

try rom toolbox it has a great selection of icons for most of your icons jus be carful with boot animation and any cpu changes unless you know what your doin

Tryed rom toolbox pro and it seemed to really bog things down big time for some reason, had to uninstall, to bad to, has alot of great options in it :(

A little fyi for anybody wanting to change colors on the status bar icons, the Rom Toolbox icons work for the following on n00b v:
Wi-Fi
1x
3g
Voicemail
Download
USB
Debugging
GPS
Vibrate
The only ones that I couldn't get to work is:
Battery
Signal bars
Clock

As far as Rom Toolbox Pro (RTP) causing lag, I've only experienced that when I accidentally double up actions with it and another app. I've find that running RTP actually has allowed me to be rid of multiple apps like setcpu, ad managers, etc and really find that it's useful in many many ways.

I agree, it always worked fine on all the other versions, thats why it kinda surprised me that it happened, I wasnt running anything else other than rom manager, I will give it another try becuase it does hav alot of great tweaks in it....

I gotta say very nice job mrbobo.
so far it has some pretty cool affects, I especially love the flashing android at boot, that is well.....awesome!!!!

I'll play around with it the next few days and let you know if I found anything.

So far the only major issue I can spot is the laggy typing, I'm getting a REALLY laggy delay when typing anything. Any ideas?

Other than that I habnt noticed anything. I'll have to install some apps to see how it all reacts.

Great job though.

I might switch the keyboard, I haven't changed that since way back at I or II...

Personally I paid for swiftkey 3, you can't beat it, it's predictive typing is hard to beat, you barely have to watch the screen and don't need to put spaces in and it learns the more you use it and predicts what you are trying to say, love it!

Okay i need help lol i tried down loading but everytime it fails and when i used easy downloader to download it want let me flash says eror please help

I am trying to install from zip on CWM, but I am trying to install from zip and it gives me an error: E:Cannot mount sd. I have done it before but now I can't.

download sd formatter -open it-go to options-format type-full(erase)

here is a post with a link the the program, back up your sd card to your pc first, then format it, basically something on the card is corrupted or at least causing cwm to not recognize it, this is a common issue when coming from ROM to rom or stock to a custom rom occasionally.

I need a swyping keyboard like it. MrBobo, I'm going to try out the circle battery indicator and see what apps you use in your bloat zip.

I like the new battery indicator. and the only app I lik out of yours is the weather one lol.

@Kingbobo
I've learned over the countless tweaks and ROMs that my phone has seen that if I'm going to have a bug its going to happen to my switches. Just happens to be the thumbprint ZTE decided to give me with their mediocre quality control. Most times a bug hits my keyboard switch and won't allow the check mark to stick causing me to not turn on a different keyboard. However, GPS is my culprit on n00b_v. Whether it's the toggle in my pulldown or the settings switch, I can't turn on/off GPS. When I reboot it will do what I wanted though. Meaning if I attempted to turn it on, I reboot its on. Try to turn off, reboot and its off. Any suggestions? I can't find the "fixpermissions" flash that Apollo made or I'd have tried that first.

I am only seeing partion formatting.

There's 2 themes for noob V one by me "Warped Green" and one another member made called "Warpin Blue"

I'm working on making different colors as well. I don't think MrBobo planning anything but b/w

It looks like I have to go back to n00b_IV with the V update because the V final is causing my check boxes to not work. GPS and keyboard. Will the green theme still work on V update whitefiretiger?
