Help Playing the best quality music

In an attempt to start listening to higher quality music, I tried getting .wav files...

These don't use the id3 thing,so i can't edit them so my phone recognises the song and artist etc....

Is there a way around this / a better way to get music?

You could get mp3's at a higher bitrate? Generally you'll likely be downloading music at between 128 - 190kbps. If you're able to find something around 254kbps, you'll notice the difference.

Wave files use up a lot of space, I believe they are the biggest audio files except from the super professional ones. Your best bet is to use FLAC files. They are better quality than mp3s and are not too big. I think a lot of third party players support them, such as poweramp

Flac, eh?

The music players support my wav's, but the track details can't be edited.

Unless it can be done on a computer?

Manchester has been named the piracy capital of the UK, according to a new study seen exclusively by the BBC.

The research said there were more illegal downloads per person in the city than any other in the country, followed by Nottingham and Southampton.
