I was thinking of upgrading for a month to the Droid, but a) what if the "Axis" doesn't come out for over a month? and B) It seems a bit sleazy, to me, to buy something when I know I'm just going to return it. Hmm....

Agreed that Axis is totally lame for this phone...however, I'm with Wood in that I don't care what they call it as long as they send it our way soon!
 
What about the HTC Ghost.....

I think it suits it perfectly....you keep thinking you catch a glimpse of it but then as soon as you turn back it's gone.....some people believe you but a bunch of others don't....it may drive you crazy wondering when you'll catch a glimpse of it again....
 
Here's what I know....IF Verizon confirms that the iPhone is coming to it's network anytime soon, it will kill ANY sales of upcoming Android devices. Mark my words.

Apple shares were up $3.44 and Verizon shares up $.78 on the rumored news.

AT&T, Palm and RIM were all down.

And now I'm in a tough spot...do I jump at the HTC Sasquatch (or whatever they will call it) or wait for the new iPhone, which I know I'd like since I already have an iPod touch?

Both my kids have Itouch my wife has a droid. Between the 2 I like Android 100 times better. For many diff reasons. With Multi-tasking being the best.
 
Im really enjoying the past day with my new droid.....very big improvemnent over my dare......everyone just get a droid to hold you off till the HTC Mystery...Be patient or get a droid!

Probably not going to get a lot of Iphone love here in the Android forums. I personally believe you will have buyers remorse if you end up with an iphone. Thats just my opinion though.

I think a flusher is more like it rather than a tornado ... but hey, it's good to see folks in here passing the updates along on the HTC Invisible.

Wonder what else it could be called ... Shadow? Figment? Mirage?

I'll just be glad when it comes out, and if I don't like the name, I'll make one up :)
 
Guys, the name is the least of my worries, but if I could name it anything, I would name it the HTC Rumor because of all of this very forum (sorry if that was already posted).
 
Someone mentioned that VZ employees always have meetings on Fridays. If that's the case, we probably won't hear anything till this Friday which would be the first Friday meeting of Q2.

Seriously guys/gals, the Wikipedia page carries no significance whatsoever, and is probably people on this forum messing around (do you remember the lovely group of people who were editing the tags?). There is no way in hell that VZW or HTC would make a Wikipedia page on a phone they have not officially announced. Stop reading so much into it. I can go and edit that page, with a username "Verizonwireless" and put "the phone will be named HTC LOL."

Edit: To the people that are editing, you MAY want to make a username because your IP address is being shown to everyone that looks at that site. And there are some things certain people can do with that IP that you may not want revealed to strangers. Just sayin'
