OTA 2.1 Has started..

I have heard about people having performance issues without the update. Means nothing to me until it's on my phone.

He could have had his apps and memory maxed out on the phone, running a laggy app, etc.

It sounded fishy when he did a factory reset and was at 2.0.1. Now if he said that he did a RSDlite like refuzeandrezizt said, then I would have believed it more.
 
Anybody know when/if the 2.1 for the Eris is coming out? I have a decent leak from someone which has WAY less bugs than the previous leaks but I'd like to have a solid OTA .zip or at least have an inkling of when the OTA is coming out.

Any and all info is appreciated! ^_^

He is probably telling the truth. When I first got my Droid, I received the OTA for the 2.0.1 update and I completed it. I did a couple of factory resets fairly soon after I got it and it prompted me to redo the 2.0.1 OTA update...
 
Not only that, but, he said it reset his phone to the way he got it in NOVEMBER, to 2.0.1. In November, we were only at 2.0, not 2.0.1.
 
There should be a way to revert your SPRecovery back to the point where it doesnt block OTAs so one of us rooted folk could still capture the update when it comes in for the purpose of sharing it

OMG! Will you guys just leave him alone already? What does it matter if he has it or not? He doesn't have the .zip file anymore one way or another, so drop it...Jeez...

LOL...I know...I was just trying to convey that being polite is prefered...I just didn't do a good job of getting that across... :)
 
OMG i think its just some dude that got his hands on it and showed a picture to mess with everyone... why dont we all just got hunt him down
