Root can't send or recieve pictures

tried sending pics to a couple of different people multiple times, and it just says "sending". And my gf has the same phone (unrooted), and she can't send me pictures either. anyone else experiencing this problem?

If it's more than one phone, both on boost, it's most likely network issues. Call boost and see if there is an outage in your area

with both phones does it happen everywhere and anywhere, even when traveling 20 miles or more away from home with both phones?

Just call boost. If they say no issues in your area, then you can take the next step.

(not sure this will work on the non rooted device)

Using a file explorer (with root access. Not sure if you need it to do this but i think so)
Navigate to /data/data/com.Android.providers.telephony/databases/
And delete telephony.db, then reboot.

Now try to send a mms

just tried to do what you said, and that option isn't there. I can go to status; and from there i can see my PRL version, which is 61009. i have CT mod 3.68.

now I'm worried something is messed up.

I had the same problem with my Marquee. Flash CTMod 2.5, it will let you access the hidden menu. After you have flashed it do a master reset then let it boot up. Open your dialer and enter ##72786# then enter your MSL and follow the prompts. The phone will reboot. Please note that you will need to backup all data because you are gonna lose it. I went round and round with Boost for over a week before I did this to solve my problem. Hope this helps.

Will I be able to go back to version 3.68 after?

yes, you just need an older version of ctmod, or even half ass rom (or any rom that has the hidden menu)

you may want to update your data profile as well while you have a rom that supports it (Menu>settings>about phone>system updated>update data profile) (any roms that support the hidden menu also support this feature)

well, it didn't fix the problem, which isn't a huge deal. I flashed back to 3.68 and now i get a code 97 when I try to send a text. what's going on?

Did you try to send a text before restoring your backup?

did you update data profile?

and about code 97:
Let me google that for you

i found a ton of hits on the subject

BUT, i have never personally experienced this issue.

you may want to temp flash back to a rom with hidden menu and call boost customer support (they cant do crap for you if you dont have access to the hidden menu :D )

Yeah,I updated the profile. problem is fixed after I went back to ctmod 2.5 and it went into "hands free activation". BUT, I still can't send or receive pics. it's puzzling, i tells ya!

Hey, don't worry about it. if I can find a fix, I'll post it. but first,THE WHORES!!! But First ... The Whores! - YouTube

lol.

btw, they changed the way that youtube vids work...
if you take just the letters/numbers after "watch?v=" (in the case of this video the code VJNsZgHCVKU ) and put them in "youtube brackets" it looks like this:

(click show to see the pic, its easier to show you then explain... :) )
