just noticed that viper got banned. sad part is i think that was one of the last devs we have. i think all we got now is spz, geno, and i know kage is getting into it. all the bans are getting to be ridiculous
 
Did everybody forget about me? Lol. I may be kinda slow with my work now but its in the works. And spz is a hell of a dev and he's given you guys gold since the monster series. Appreciate that man :-)

This site is supposed to be an open source forum for all things android related. Why then is anything related to the dev group ABC always removed? All other devs and members are allowed to put their stuff on this site and are welcomed to. When anyone says something about ABC they seem to have their stuff deleted (like my leaked Rom thread) or they just kick them off of this site. Just like this vIperdInk guy.
Can someone please tell me what the hell is so bad about ABC? All I heard was some crap about how they were banned by some Jamaica dude telling me he deleted my shit. That Rom was cool! A lot of people said they liked it. That thing blows this OA stuff out of the water! Who gives a rat's ass who it came from? It worked and it was new for me to flash so I shared. Why is it ok for half the members of this forum able to kiss the brass rings of one "dev" and not able to even speak of another who has work that's just as good!
I'm gonna make a Rom! it's gonna look just like another Rom but I'm gonna take credit for it and not anyone else. I'm gonna release it and if anyone thinks it's not mine then let anyone who thinks I stole it speak up. Since ABC is banned on here then I can steal all their work and call it mine and nobody will know the difference right?!?

when does the double standard stop!
I just wanna flash shit! and if I like it I share!

Im not 100% sure on this but this is just my guess and opinion. The probably i think the mods had with abc was that they were spamming the forums? They were promoting their website on here and i don't think that's favored. And it's like they we're trying to start their own mini forum in this section.Also many of the releases we're just their own take on what a rom should "look" like. Here comes my opinion. To me all of their rom's just look like super themed stock roms with nothing else to offer. Even on their website they dont tell what each "rom" includes. Whether it has 3gturbocharger or init.d enabled or anything. It seems to me that a lot of it was just for show and not for a quick and featured rom. And then you have dev's liked like bo, spz0, req,geno that actually try to add features to their rom, etc. I just think they should say they are themers. Cause when i look at their roms all i see are super themed stock roms. I don't know what any of them have to offer besides looks. But as i said this is just a guess and my opinion. Also i don't think any of their roms are better than OA. Again, personal opinion
 
Either way a Rom is still a Rom and none of these devs are better than the other. They all seem to work hard and I keep trying them all. So why does one get to stay and the other goes. Who is playing "god" on this site and says who gets to say what we see and who doesn't? And Kage you are a byist observer. I can't see your head it's so far up the other dev teams.

Here's my rebuttal. First it's 'biased'. Second i've flashed a rom from every dev. Monster 5.3 from bo, lunar-gen from spz0, stock++ and cm7.2 from req, OA from spz0, putu2.2,nnr-1, and singularity from abc so i'm far from biased. And obviously the mods play a high role on this site. If they decide someone gets banned for whatever reason you can't do anything about it. And i never said a dev was better than another. All contributions help if only by a small amount. I just have a different definition of what a rom and a themed rom is so sue me. Never said i dislike them or hate them roms. They just don't seem like anything special to me.

This is a privately owned site with rules.

We found a number of rule violations by ABC members and we tried to work with them.

They failed to stop pimping their site, they openly broke every agreement made.

Then one of them decided that profane and obscene trolling of the other forums here was the answer.

They appealed their bans and were turned down.

It has nothing to do with IP addresses, we ban people, not accounts.

As I said by private message to someone this morning, our forums will not be used to advertise their work. It's not welcome here. It won't be posted by them or their proxies.
