Hey Treb, how are the new Incredible X rumors affecting your Note 2 purchase? 
I'm actually a little torn but will definitely have to see them in person AND ensure that the one I get (if I do) has an unlocked bootloader. If the X becomes a Nexus device, that seals the deal.

Hear ya. Only HTC phone I've owned was some Verizon branded WinMo so no fair comparison. Like my Flyer, but just use it as a bedside clock (got it on that bizarre screwed up "sale" at BB for $99 ). Biggest concern would be battery life. It's all I hear about HTC phones being so poor and a 2500mA battery for that big of a phone doesn't sound too great. And, if they're following the One series of sealed batteries makes me even more nervous.

I love HTC phones, had the Thunderbolt and the Dinc. I am drooling over the rumors myself, even though with my sacrificing an upgrade to my wife, I will be waiting till May for an upgrade (unless I want to lose unlimited )

Lots of dog owners out here?
We really REALLY want one. However, a couple pressing issues: really small apartment and our long work schedules.
Thing is, plenty of small dog breeds can handle a small environment (we both love pugs), and my wife can often bring the pup to work to hang out in the office, get walked etc.
We also have a nearby friend who works for a dog walking company whom I'm sure would be happy to help us out.
There's a big dog walk event going on this Saturday, I hope we can make it.
One other problem is scouring the Humane Society's website for dogs to adopt in the city yields nearly all pit/pit mixes.
