They do?? What's the "window," bud?
Someone just posted this message in the Official HTC EVO / WiMAX 4G thread and pointed this out: Sprint's HTC EVO may be sold on Verizon as HTC Venture. I'm just curious as to what you might think.
I figure you would have said it if there was but I'll ask anyway...
Any differences that you noticed or heard?
Any chance there is an hdmi out?
If i buy a BOGO Droid, then return one of them. How do they know that it's the free one?? Couldn't it just be like any other $200 DROID?
If not, if they do find out its the free one, i have to pay the difference of $200 for the Incredible?
Does a price change affect anything in the return value? Like say, i buy the DROID for $200, if it gets reduced to $120 when the Incredible comes out, and i go to exchange it, does the value become $120 or stay at the $200 i paid and i exchange the phone at no cost (besides restocking fee)
I love this thread. Where else can I find posts with dudes bashing someones Grandma, or hundreds of posts about a "box" or even better this Gem of a post:
"Instant Death"
Wish I could make that my screen name
This thread is really ... dare I say ... Incredible (sorry, had to stay on topic)
Dude I wasn't bashing anyone's Grandma. Sarcasm is lost on so many. For those that do not understand, the [/a bunch of ass-hats on this board/] thing at the bottom means the post was a quote for what a bunch of people on this board are thinking. You know, how some jump all over other people that give info about, maybe, things like boxes...........calling them liars, etc.
NKT, any news on what the issue or problem was with the last "load" (not entirely sure what a "load" is)? Or I guess what bug was fixed? Thanks.
Your receipt and the digital copy on their system tells them your free phone was a free one.If i buy a BOGO Droid, then return one of them. How do they know that it's the free one?? Couldn't it just be like any other $200 DROID?

Your "option" makes absolutely no sense. Verizon hasn't rolled out their LTE plans yet, so why would they "update" the Incredible with 4G technology? And it's been semi-confirmed that the Nexus One will be sold via Google only so that makes it more plausible that the Incredible should be released around the same time so people can buy an alternative to the Nexus One at the VZN stores.I've been waiting for this phone for awhile now, and as much as I hate to say it, I can't see the Incredible coming out anytime soon. If the rumored specs are true, then this phone will be outdated by the end of summer because of the release of the Evo and possibly a Verizon Iphone. So Verizon really only has one option: Take it back to the drawing board, update it with 4G technology, and try to beat out the Evo and Iphone. Perhaps that's why there have been rumors about about the testers sending their units back.
Plus, they already have the Nexus One coming out with almost the same exact specs. If they are indeed going to sell it at VZW stores, then this only increases my doubt we are getting the Incredible anytime soon. I think it's more like that with Google losing the lawsuit for the rights to the name Nexus One, they will just end up changing the name to Incredible for release.
I hope I'm wrong though.
Not a clue. I don't think it was a stability issue as both testers have had ZERO issues.

If you return your free Droid you don't get anything credited back into your account (within the 30 day return) because it would be as if you did not take part of the BOGO promotion--however if you opt to swap, they may charge you a restocking fee on top of the price of the Incredible.
The value--in theory--should be what was on your receipt. It's not insurance, it's just a return--if you're outside your 30 days, however, you're SOL-ish.

So, theoretically the phones could all be sitting there really to go, only needing the latest build to be loaded on them and then be sent out the door?
Sounds like they could be coming soon then. 2 weeks sounds doable if the testing doesn't go on forever.
I hope it isn't skype. VZW could easily push a functioning skype on the Incredible AFTER release... Just had it pushed on my S1 and I hid the icon as soon as I found it.

The only thing is, they're not sitting there ready to go.
