do not boot into the stock recovery...it'll wipe your phone back to factory...you'll still have root...but it'll wipe everything else off :(

but yay! i booted into the stock recovery?....

i used rom toolbox and did the "reboot into recovery" option...just to see what would happen...and this blows...

Speaking of stock recovery, I was over in the ZTE Warp forum, but don't know the details of it, but in the ATR there was a link that was for a post that they figured out how to flash things via the stock recovery. Wonder if it's possible for this device.. But again I didn't read the details or anything and don't know if it's possible for other devices/manufacturers

Probably not due to locked up bootloader...

It is volume down + power while swiping across the home and back key. Also it is a automated recovery i wish i saw the thread, I would have mentioned that it would automatically wipe your phone.

no it did not give me back everything i deleted...it deleted everything i added...basically wiped the data folder...prolly dalvik and cache as well...did not wipe the system folder because s voice was still there....

And you would still be rooted as well then...

So this is what we know:
Unbrick=wipe /system...flash system
Factory reset=wipe /data,cache,dalvik-cache

so far, that seems to be about it...

i'm tempted to try and see what happens if i boot into the bootloader with Rom Toolbox...but it took me a day and a half to get all my apps back and phone back into working order after booting into recovery :P

To my knowledge from dealing with HTC phones and my Nexus S 4g, the boot loader has the option to reboot, boot into recovery, the fastboot option, reboot the boot loader and power down. Its nothing more than a advanced power menu. From previous experience fastboot is usually used for installing things such as cwm. Just a lil advice I can spare :rolleyes:

Does not work the same way on any LG phone. And yes I have dealt with an HTC phone before, they have fancy bootloaders, LG doesn't work that way with their bootloader.

I've never dealt with them. I wanna get a motion so I can do all of that crazy shit and help with development. I was just throwing my 2 cents in. That's all :D
