Root Cyanogen Mod 10 Build

i was able to talk to a few devs on building CM10 on the Optimus elite, they may be able to help, but request brave testers who know how to use logcats and are aware something can go wrong and want to help so they can actually help with testing the build and not for being the first to try it . we're also gonna need stockrom zip of the elite, a working kernel source and ramdisk if possible,

it also be helpful if we could get them a phone too lol but without think the farthest they can help is a starting build

who's ready to get this going?
 
i think i remember reading about this in an earlier forum, but one of the devs i was talking to, can help us with getting started with our build without the phone and then mabey one of our devs can finish it off if trust is an issue, but says itd itd be easier as well if he had the phone as wellm ive informed Giant Pune about it too, we'll see what he thinks is best
 
wait a minute didn't lg post their optimus elite sources online? this it?? the stock kernel? this what its called VM696_kernel_opensources.tar

As for me, I have zero interest in building from source, much less on a device no one has even touched, and even less to maintain it on a device I don't use.

Really loving the idea of 4.1 on the Elite. Genuine thanks to all those investing their time, energy, and intellect into making this a reality.
