I still want to hear from people who have knowledge of training/release as soon as they hear it, so I don't agree with you that those should not post. I'll reserve your thanks for later.

Just read my previous posts. I have never spoke for all of VZW. And I have never said reps get info first - I have explained in detail, how and why we got it last. Reps, are not trusted, with confidential info. A new release would be announced in our email, and on VZWToday, and viewable in the equipment guide. The entire co. recieves the info at the exact same second via email (unless they were HIGH UP or one of the few trainers and corporate types who are given devices months and months in advance to test.)
 
When will the banhammer swing on people who post photoshopped pictures on this forum trying to get a little glory for themselves?

Oh believe me that we're on the same page there; I want to hear about training/release as soon as possible from people who have knowledge of it.

Before a dozen posts before we thought IncrediblyAnnoying had a good source and now we can say that he does not fit the bolded requirement above. I'm just trying to separate the legitimate from the ill. How many more IncrediblyAnnoyings are there?

Yes, but those sources at blahblah are ALSO getting their news from the same sites as we are! Like I said, the trouble lies when those online "journalists" - and I use that term lightly here - write up rumors as fact and therefore do nothing but fan the flames.

Hell, remember when this guy really thought that this picture of an Eris was an Incredible? He had to eat crow BIG time!

I'm just saying being cordial and inviting. In the past it is what has worked to get leaks from those such as NKT and Stericson. They didn't owe us anything, and we're all very grateful that they came and shared their knowledge.

I don't know for sure, but I would guess that if we called them liars and demanded cold hard proof right away, they might've said. "Screw those guys, what do I have to prove to them. I'll keep this info to myself."


All I'm really saying is BE FRIENDLY, this thread has been amazingly different from many that I've seen in the past, and I think it's based on being nice to one another.

Thanks for all of your info. The fact that you felt the need to go this far to prove yourself is sad and speaks volumes about the incredulity of this forum.

As the local Photoshop expert in here, I have to agree with you. That has been photoshopped. Hands down. And whoever did it, did a really good job photoshopping it, but not a good enough job to fool me.

Yeah, maybe I'm being a little too systematic in that sense. I normally e-hang out in a certain car forum's off-topic section, where its a little more rough and tumble than here.

It is sad, but I don't mind becuz, as I have said - I want that device SOOO BAD. I am right where you are and I do see people posting blatantly false info about how VZW retail stores supposedly work. I hate to see you all be excited by falsehoods. Again, I can only speak for retail in my former market, but I will help where I can.

I find it funny: When there is a perceived a lack of news, and things gets get slow and boring, like clockwork some of us turn on each other like little children.. My kids used to do the very same thing...when they were toddlers! ;)

Notice the number 1. Definitely a fake. That's not what the number one looks like on the clock for HTC Sense.

Also, I probably could've handled the "Try to be Nicer" message I was trying to get across better, and I appreciate you making me look back at IncrediblyAnnoying's picture, and finding out it was faked.
 
i found myself with extra time today and did the ol' "so i walked into the Veriz....."i got discouraged, the fella didnt know anything or even hinted that this HTc Incredible was credible, he even suggested a Droid rt now would offer a better experience w sense touch technology or something blah, blah, blahi'm back here to b encouraged by rumours and hearsay.ill put my hopes in that instead.
