Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] ICON rom V2.0 * released 10/16/12 *

Hey Mhannah,

What are the chances of you being able to incorporate the kernel that was just released by Team Glitch (OC & Swap) into your ICON ROM? The yoshi project runs like a dream, but i am so in love with the Theme on your ROM. All the icons and set up make the phone look so classy.:D

Uploading OC VERSION now!!

Question, will flashing DTM's new OC kernel do the same thing as updating to the version you just uploaded?? Or should I just re download the ROM?

Yes it will. I havent tested it with the super phone 3 build.prop. let me know how it goes

Edit... ive made a few minor changes in the OC version. New kernel of course.. a special thanks to downthemachine for his work. No frills cpu control. Deleted some unnessesary duplicate files. Reverted back to the honeycomb boot ani to match the kernel splash screen.

I hAvent included it in the OP yet. I had to make a few minor changes. Its uploading to my dropbox now. The link will be up in about an hour..

LOL oh ok woops, i just flashed 1.0.4 again lol.....Thank you so much for the quick reply.....Ill be here pressing refresh for a little while :D

What issues did you have exactly with the other 1.6 kernel and Super Phone III? Want to try to recreate them for you.

No issues so far for me. I flashed the kernel over the original 1.0.4 ROM.

The issue i had with the hroark 1.6 kernel was random freezes.. no matter what prop file i used

I didnt get a chance to change the version # in the notification pulldown. I hope some if you can live with that lol. If someone gets bored and wants to do it go ahead..... and send me the framework when your done.. the text was "sony sketch bold" size 30 px.

I also flashed the kernel on original 1.0.4 and it took well but I don't have service on my warp so I can't test some of the main concerns that someone might encounter, a lot of help I am hunh!
What is a good way to put an OC Kernel to the test?

Antutu benchmark

Do I have to have service to run this benchmark?

Instead of being a "Diva" you're a "Dev'er" and good at it to. Wink wink
I like your work, not going to waste thread space going on about your Rom but you put your foot in this, now all I need is some corn bread.:D

So I installed the OC version n now my 3G doesn't seem to be working. I get full service n it says 3G but my bars stay blue n don't switch to green n my download speeds are super slow .it takes about 15min to download Facebook!!!? any thoughts?

No problems with Super Phone III while I had the OC kernel on the phone. Removed it a few min ago and went back to my nandroid backup because I couldn't adjust my screen brightness. Stayed way too dim for me. I did however run a Speedtest before removing it and I got 1.4 MB down running the OC kernel and Super Phone III. Did you remove Super Phone III from 1.0.4? One thing to check as far as the 3G issues would be the 3G tweaks in the build.prop. When helping mholloway with the Super Phone builds I found that many of the 3G tweaks were written for GSM phones, not CDMA devices.

1.0.4b was realeased with super phone1. Ive been running super phone3 all day.. maybe its network congestion but my 3g speeds dont seem as fast as they used to be.. i need to update to the 61009 prl. Cartersball; what prl are you on?

You also might try changing your proxy server address to 74.125.79.104

I'm not sure if you are erasing that one or not. I know you are erasing the other ones. This one is under DSS in the ##3282# diag menu.
