This thread sound like we are waiting for something amazing to be said about the Evo. Please fill in a fellow who came in on the tail end of the conversation.
 
sprint has been in a meeting about the evo since 8:30. all we know is that the release is first week of june and same amazing info has been released.
 
man I have a feeling we arent gonna see anything till tomorrow! and our inside man is off for the night! oh well i really hope im wrong lol come one engadget!!!
 
I'm guessing there are more than a few sprint employees that post on the sprint users forums, so that might be the best place to get the news.
 
nice this is just to crazy. Sprint/ android flagship phone coming out in summer 8megapix ready for beach pix.
Now what does 2.2 os give me that 2.1 does not. Or is it just because of the 4g speeds n mobile hotspot they need newer os.

Well some coding for 4G was needed to be added to Android OS since apparently it wasn't fully supported in 2.1 so that'll be one of the biggest additions on 2.2. As for what else I have no idea, no details on 2.2 have been released yet.
 
there arent even any posts on the sprint forums. maybe sprint told all the guys at the meeting to not speak about it? that would be dumb..
 
Dang! It gets soooo lonely here in the last time zone...(Hawaii) The Sprint here hasn't even started their meeting yet. (It's a little past 6pm here) Maybe I should go and jump one coming outa the store after hours?? hahaha Is anyone still here? I'm definitely gonna get a white one.
