I don't think they could get away with that.....I'd think they'd at least have to honor that through your contract, or let you out of the contract.

Bait and Switch is typically frowned upon.
 
Update On April Fools Day on my forum....
Just restored the site back to normal and decided to continue so now a e i o u are being replaced with an x so if you posted . I want my Incredible phone it would read....

A dozen or so pages ago, people were speculating what the VZ wireless surprise would be with N1 ... wonder if they will throw in some kind of mobile hotspot? That is, if Google/HTC are making a custom build.

(just a thought, probably wrong, but that could be a real tempting phone if they did that)

I don't see them doing it, but if VZW made tethering a standard feature for smartphones, that'd be pretty awesome

hmm... so maybe this is a good thing for me. If i can convince my wife she needs a Palm then I dont have to buy her an INC and we would have the wifi hotspot.... now i just have to convince her that Palm is a better phone and most importantly that she came up with this idea... ;)

Companies always do that though. Look at television companies, which verizon is also a part of, they say 29.99 for the first something months. But always in fine print shows its 99.99 a month after that

I'd read the fine print, but I don't see anything that says this is a for X amount of months, and if you sign the contract, and it doesn't have that info in it....then they can't change it.
 
I feel like VZW could pull the trigger on the incredible anytime. It's like they are waiting because they want to clear out stock of their other phones. They better not be pushing this back until may or even june....

Wayne Brady may have to choke a b*tch :cool::p:D

Nah, he said he's staying away because he has to package up all the incredibles in his warehouse so they can ship for the release tomorrow. :rolleyes:

So after the phone launches are we gonna get HTC incredible Tee's made (sponsored by AF of course), high socks, and running shorts and make a jogging team? :cool:
 
Ahhhh can't take it anymore! I'm going to buy an Eris today and hope the Incredible comes out in the next 30 days. This stupid little LG phone is driving me crazy
 
If there was some type of announcement that the Incredible was delayed indefinitely(blasphemy for me to even mention that I know), and I was forced into buying the N1 from the google web site, will I still be able to use my NE2 credit or am I azzed out?

Tell me about it. Every morning I wake up to a beeping RAZR cause it has a low battery. If I need to charge my phone every day, I might as well charge a smartphone.
