i love a good joke but frankly i dont care about 'OMG my 800th post' 'OMG my 900th post' 'OMG my 1000th post!!!!' now ive got nothin against steven or anyone else in this forum for that matter but you come to a point when you dont even want to read thsi crap and could care less the pointlessness of their post. it only adds mass amounts of clutter

I'm not sure I would go THAT far. Close but I think we're all more like girlfriends. I'm meeting Steven for a late lunch later and then Kappy is meeting up with us and we're going to get our nails did. It's going to be a FABULOUS day! Call me! ;)

Right, whenever anyone complains about off-topic chat, the defense of the folks usually the most guilty is "you're off topic right now!"

Yes, we are. We sit through hundreds of pages of your banter, you can put up with us speaking our peace (or piece?) in a few posts.

I just received official communication about when the HTC ADR6300 will be both announced and released by Verizon...however, after reading this thread, it looks like posting factual information is off topic, so i'll refrain from posting it here.

Anytime anyone posts anything with even a semblence of new info, it gets thanked 50+ times. Those posts jump off the page at you when you scan through if all you want is info.

Good advice h0lby. I'm certainly to be counted among the frustrated masses. I cannot wait to get off the AT&T network! BTW, I would mirror your advice on typically good posts on the phone for many of the posts by stericson and nashdroid, as well.

:o Sorry, I've been a little on edge in recent posts. I realized how hypocritical I felt, when I hesitated to comment on how that Wayne Brady photo made me laugh out loud. (That's some funny sh*t.)

I hope this thing comes out soon man. My wife is really wanting a new piece of kit to work with. Her LG Dare won't hold a charge very long. Why doe Verizon have to be such wankers about phone releases?

BTW, nothing is stopping anyone from creating their own thread ....
 
A couple (hundred) pages ago, someone suggested something very simple to trudge through the "clutter" and "fun" people are having that could be quite effective. Just hit Pg Down until you see posts with a lot of Thanks attributed to them, those are usually the ones with all the info. Then, you can leave people to their fun and don't need to clutter good conversation with complaints

Aside from warehouse rumors, there has been NO information in weeks. So there you have it. The thread either dies out, or people fill the lulls in conversation with booger picking and various other nonsense. That doesn't bother me so much when there's no new info forthcoming. You'll know when the real news hits. It will be impossible to miss. But I agree with the previous post; if you don't want the chit-chat and only want the news, Engadget is probably more your speed.

My goodness STOP complaining! If you dont like it, LEAVE. How hard is that? Not at all! Move your mouse up to the upper right portion of your screen and click on the icon that looks like an "X". Or better yet, leave sooner! And simply push Alt+F4. Nobody i skeeping you here. If you must "sacrifice" by sifting through off-topic chatter to get your info here, that is simply YOUR decision. If you want strict on topic info, go repeatedly hit f5 on a random site that gets their info from us. Nuff said.
