after rooting my phone i tried to change the resolution and when i restarted it is now stuck in a boot loop. i have tried everything that i can think of to get it into recovery mode but i cant seem to do it rite i have tried both the up and the down rockers at the same time and separately while hitting the power button. someone please help me i have no idea what to do,

Did you install recovery? Did you check to see if recovery was installed before messing with anything?
Recovery isn't hard to get into so if it's not booting into it then its prolly not installed. I boot into by pressing power till the phone vibrates. release power hold vol up and down, i press both in the center with one finger. Hold til menu pops up. Press power through reset menu, if recovery is installed it will take you to recovery. If not, your phone will be reset.

First let me say there are others better able to help than me but ill try. if you used the one click root then you probably have cwm recoery in. that's how i rooted and it put recovery in. if your phone is asking language it may be a factory reset you did. go through the set up and see what happens. if its stuck in boot loop there isa boot loop recovery here in the all things root guide. good luck
