GSM Factory 4.1.2 has been released

Does anyone remember what some of us did to kind of "force" the update last time?
There was something I hit a few times, and the update started?
Framework something??
 
I just flashed the new AOSP with 4.1.2 just to test it out (like 5 minutes ago). Already missing all my options from AOKP lol.

I'll run it for a day or two, or until I can't stand not having extras. ;)
 
Crap... didn't see it posted, then realized I was in the toro forum so posted it in the main forum, then saw your post. :D

Beat me by 24 hours, not even close.

Being that Im new to the Nexus side of our wonderful forums, does AOKP update their builds compared to Android versions? Meaning will we see an AOKP version5 for 4.1.2? Something I should ask them I guess but I was here. :D

Just got 4.1.2 on my Galaxy Nexus. Alas, no home screen rotation. Is it just me, or is it because the home screen format does not lend itself to landscape?

I think the landscape option is only for tablets like the nexus 7.

I used the galaxy nexus toolkit (7.8) and followed the instructions (I downloaded the full 4.1.2 os image, not the 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 update).
 
How many others are still waiting for the 4.1.2 update?
I am Yakju on JC003C in the UK so I was expecting to get it quite early but nothing so far.

My Nexus updated this evening. I am in NW Indiana.

As a little side note and I don't know why it happened... While at work all day my Nexus was not able to connect to the T-Mobile Network. Had me puzzled. When I got home, I transferred the SIM card from the Nexus to my Tab 7.7. Immediately had phone service and made a call. So, took the SIM back out of the Tab and put it back into the Nexus. I power things down completely to do this. Upon power up, T-Mobile was available and connected. I know all about processor based systems sometimes requiring a reboot so why I didn't think of it earlier today? So, I learned something today.

I just received the update.
 
Just cleared google Service framework data and recieved update! Woohoo...Was a bit worries as I had flashed from yakjuxw to takju was wasn't sure if updating would happen smoothly...
