For all interested and especially my louisville folk:

Since the weather was nice I decided to take the bike out and take a tour of all the VZW stores in Louisville.

After finding out that the cellular sales stores are either rude or don't know sh!I i moved on to the Actual VZW stores. Sooo after quite literally riding all day to these stores and talking to SEVERAL people I think I made a friend.

They knew of the Nexus One but no details.

So then I decided to stop playing dumb and just came out with it. I was like look I can't play curious shopper any more. I know more about every phone in this place than anyone in this store can dream. Whens the freakin' Incredible coming out.

To my surprise this was the response: "Man that phone is so awesome, hold on let me ask my manager" 2 min later. "We can't tell you when YET but an INCREDIBLE phone is coming VERY VERY SOON!!:D" "Give me your email and ill try to give you advance notice, here is mine and my cell"
She was cute too.:D

So all Louisville VZW stores have been tapped:cool: But not all the associates!
 
I got a call, tonight, for my wife, from the University my daughter goes to. She has laryngitis so I took the call. This deep male voice says to me something like...

Mr. XXXXXX ? Your daughter has been missing from class for three weeks, now. Unfortunately, we are going to have to withdraw her scholarship...

..... pause..... (my mind is going wild at this point)... then thanks to the Forum's making me painfully aware of what today is, I ask... Is this an April Fool's prank?

Then I hear a room full of college kids bust out laughing! Including my daughter!

She then told me that I was the fastest to respond correctly. They had one mother in tears! nice.

I'd like to say thank you for handling the matter. Not to kiss up to anyone (well maybe a bit) but the mods/admin rocks! As do posters who actually care.
And thank you for not shutting us down 5 minutes later :D

Nice, you should hit her up. Take her out, buy her a dress, and then maybe she will just leak it to you :) Giver her a little some some ya kno what i mean....and then she'll give you a little some some **grin** ;)
 
Phone call came a little early. He could confirm nothing new.:mad:

He did get a second device to test, and said it was sweet but can't give spec. Turned it in on Monday. Said to be patient, Good things are just around the corner. I tried to squeeze a little out of him, but nothing new. Sorry.:(

Ok, guys, today was a rough day with it being April Fool's day. A certain someone who I won't mention got a lot of people riled up by posting fake pics and raising false hope. Although I'm very irritated, I realize it's April 1st, so I'm willing to forgive and move on. That being said, come midnight, April Fool's day is over. I implore you all to not post fake pics for the sole purpose of your own amusement at our expense. Today is like a free pass, but tomorrow the generosity is over. I'd suggest that anyone posting crap like this again receive a warning and if it keeps up, I'm sure the mods will know what to do...
