I'm on Black Plague. I love the CRT screen shut off animation, it works nicely with my theme. I dunno if any of the other ROMs have that, nor do I know how to make them do it, so I'll stick with what I have for now.

Black plague definately looks nice but kills your battery like no tomorrow. I'm sticking with number two!

BlackPlague with Smart Launcher super fast rom everything just works im very happy with it.This rom is
like Ubuntu(great and free)lol.Thanks team.

Broken out Rom with plague kernel, plus a few kernel and build.prop tweaks. It's light, runs smooth and I get pretty good battery life.

I sold my connect not too long ago to a friend of mine. At first it was flashed with stock, then number 2 before he settled on black plague.

ZVA, not at all tampered with other than rooted CWM and hand selected de bloating. It runs the way the phone should without all the tweaking that the custom roms use.

black Plague here love the CRT effect and the screen transitions also i do have an extended battery but im going to give number two a try to see how i like it. also might try stock rom with the broken out kernal for over clocking purposes

im sticking with black plague. brokenout isnt great and number two just doesnt save enough battery to justify. blackplague is awesome after you fix the reboot issue. im underclocked at 864mhz with nofrills. using autokiller pro for task management and tweaks. plague has bravia mod but i downloaded dres beats from market anyway and it sounds awesome and loud. running awesome no glitches or reboots ever

How do you fix the reboot problem? You mean deleting the initq file in system?

Im using broken out but i'm gonna give a try to number 2 and another try to plague.
Btw anyone knows if the ics theme mod works on any of this two roms?

I would also like to knw how to fix the reboots, I've set it the same as u using no frills but I still get alot of random reboots. OH!! and I now use #2 (NO REBOOTS) :D

I've used them all for a while bo is by far the best for performance but the battery life on #2 is unmatched and the performance is still better than stock bp is awesome as well I particularly like the boot animation still praying for some cm goodness tho :)

You wouldnt happen to have 2 cpu settings apps would you?I know that when i had setcpu and rom toolbox i would get reboots since they kept trying to set their own speeds.i deny rom toolbox root and only allow when needed.you can also freeze it and unfreeze.

I've flashed b/o and b/p and honestly I don't like the theme's they use, and really could care less for whatever boosts they give. They both use the whole ics style status bar clock centered, and that alone drives me nuts. B/p does have an awesome boot anime which I did save and am now i using on my zva. But it's like another poster mentioned in another thread I just read, it's sorta like putting a Ferrari kit on a Fiero none of these roms really do much more than the phone can already do minus speed tweaks (which c'mon it doesn't really need) and better battery life which IMO is sufficient enough with zva. In the end the phone is pretty decent all by itself it's really all up to how you want it run. Personally if I want a better running phone or ics I'll just wait for the s3. Not to say I'm not appreciative for all the devs work on trying to get this phone to be all it can be because I am. I just don't see this device getting much better than it already is.

to fix reboot issue i found a thread in bp forum. i believe the fix was to install bp, let it boot to welcome screen, then factory reset and clear dalvik. before that i got reboots constantly. supposed to work on bo as well

You mean factory reset using CWM right? I think I read somewhere that doing a reset using the settings menu after flashing "cant remember" haha!! it will soft brick the phone. Maybe Im thinking of another phone lol!! but I want to be sure before a few ppl try it and end-up getting into a mess.

ya cwm is the way to go. only other prob i think i had was w playstore. if i remember right i just cleared data from playstore and it fixed

Cool, im not to worried about the play store since I'll be replacing it with the new update that lets you delete your old install history. Here is the link to the info and the update for the play store if you dont already have it (LINK)
