Root [CDMA] Any issues rooting 3VO with OTA ICS update [CDMA/Sprint]?

Has anybody had any issues rooting their 3VO post the OTA ICS update from Sprint? A friend of mine wants me to root his phone, and I figured using the rooting guide on here would work just the same as when I rooted my 3VO. This would be my third root attempt with a 3VO and fourth root attempt overall. I'd hate to run into a problem midway and have to delay the turnaround time for getting his phone back.

It works exactly the same! I've helped numerous people through the process. I would suggest 4ext recovery instead of the one in the guide though! I can post the .img file if you want it! If you have any questions just feel free to ask. I'll be on for a bit tonight but I check in here a lot. Good luck!

It is exactly the same! Even s-off.
 
Yep...its me. Figured its the same, but just wanted to be sure. Post or send me the .IMG file for 4ext, as I can't remember if I have it or not. Thanks Brian!
