I am trying to access my sd card in my phone through my pc. When I plug my phone in to the pc, it doesnt recognize it. This is the first time Ive restored this backup in about 2 months and I dont recall me having this problem when I was on this rom before? Any feedback??

What do you mean it doesn't recognize it? It doesn't have the USB mounting option or does debugging show up? Update to latest build and see if it works

Nothing shows up when I plug the usb cable in. I have even mounted the sd card and nothing. I go into windows explorer on my pc to see if I can see the drive for my phone and nothing shows up. I was gonna try to udate to the newest version like you said, but I have to go back to midnights rom to transfer the file to my phone, then go back to cm10, then update. A tedius task but hopefully it will work. Any idea why I cant see the drive on my pc that the phone is suppose to be on??
 
Also, do you have any idea why I am getting testxmessage when someone leave a voicemail message. Its kind of annoying. I did back up the voicemail app on midnight rom and restored this app on your cm10, would that have anything to do with it. On midnight rom, it never did that text message thing. BTW, thanks for your help and feedback.

We, epsecially JMZ, can't be expected to help if you think installing a rom is too tedious a task to potentially solve a problem you provide little to no detail about.

And the voicemail text thing happens to everyone, I think. At least as stock. Maybe someone has a workaround I don't know about, but you aren't alone in getting those texts.
 
I did not mean mean that I didnt want to install roms, I do that frequently, I am just saying that I thought there would be a easier way of fixing this problem. And I have provided as much detail as I can. I am trying to access my sd card through my pc and when I plug it in to the pc, it does nothing, even when I mount the card. On midnights rom, it instantly recognized my phone and and I could access the sd card. I dont know what else to say, it wont show up in my drive window on my pc. Ok, I see the text problem is not just a issue with just me then. Thank
 
Ok, I just updated to the most current version. Now when I plug the usb cable in, I see the icon at the top of the phone screen, I pull down the drop down menum mount the usb storage and now I can access my sd card through my pc, Thanks

Glad you've figured it out. When all else falls, wipe and re-install the latest update.
 
I have noticed on this rom that when I do a reboot, it always goes back to the default stock keyboard. Is there any way I can keep it from always going back to this keyboard?? I am running the ics keyboard donation app and i will select it in settings, language and keyboard and it works fine till my next reboot, then it goes back to the stock?? Any ideas why this is happening??

It may not be selected as default. Next time you type something, long press the input box and an option should be there to always use it or something to that effect. If it isn't this, I have no clue.

When I tried typing, I tried long pressing the input box and nothing happened. I did this in the messaging app and also in google play store. In both apps, long pressing the input space did nothing at all???

Anyone have any other ideas??
 
My intention isn't to start a war or diss anyone, but why would anyone hide advancements from other devs? Android was supposed to be about removing limitations, and enhancements publicly. Does that other dev want monetary gains or 'fame'?

Devs take pride in their work, and they have full rights to not share it if they don't want to. It isn't what most of us are about, no, but it isn't fair to bash agrabren for liking his work perhaps a bit too much.

In ICS+ you select the input method by pulling down the notifications bar while the cursor is in an input.
 
I am currently on CM 10. I just did a radio swap from radio 808 to 530. Everything went fine and it rebooted, like it usually does, but its been in the reboot screen for over five minutes. I took out the battery and waited a minute then put it back in and its stuck in bootloop once again. Anyone have any ideas as to how to get out of the bootloop safely??

Pull your sd card out boot into recovery clear cashes and reboot
 
I no this is off topic but does anyonre no how to update adb on pc cause every time i use adb to get my phone into bootloader it says adb server is out of date
 
Just as an update. I will do one final release sometime with camera fix. But after that release I am prolly done with CM. Tired of the bullshit behind the scenes. I'm teaming up with evervolv where I won't have to spend a days trying to fix something they broke in code

Hey man I just wanted to say thank you for all the hard work you put in on this rom. I appreciate the hell out it bro. Sorry about all of the assholes on here who constantly ask stupid questions and start pointless threads. Good luck in all your future ventures.
