Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Its time..

Lets get some root action going! I feel like with this phone I can rule the world..or is it just me :/
 
ok so my few fellow metro s3 owners hopefully more soon. I am having a problem with the wifi at my house, the phone seems to take forever to actually download a page. I see my wifi icon on and gray arrows... then it the arrows change colors and it begins to download but the most it has taken to react is like 15 seconds which is weird does anyone know why this is happening? everything else it simply amazing.

I bought my GS3 with the $30 plan because I have wifi set up in my house.
The little I've used wifi so far it's bee amazingly fast. Same basic download speed as my Esteem and about twice as fast uploading (11 down, 1.85 up),
but I find it very responsive. No real lag starting that I've noticed.
I'm using the Linksys Wireless-G router.
 
Same here. Wifi works perfectly. I have a dual band linksys wireless-N router. SGS3 works fine with my dualband N signal, and getting the same speeds I see on my laptop. No issues.
 
yea idk guys its ok most of the time now but there is some hiccups everyonce in a while i have a netgear wireless N router dual band as well. anyways i have noticed that the battery life on this compared to my connect is incredible i have not put the phone down since i got it lol
 
ok i think i have too much time in my hands but found a missing feature on our gs3 there is no way to change the color profile on our gs3 ur suppose to just do this
1. Go to Settings.

2. Go to Display.

3. Go to Screen Mode.

4. Pick from four different options:

Dynamic
Standard
Natural
Movie

but its not there =( no screen mode. Maybe im just dumb and have some setting on that blocks this. Can i get some enlightenment?

did everything the toolkit said..now everything is pretty lit up...except the screen. is this supposed to take awhile on the first go? i tried restarting the phone..and same deal.i get the samsung boot up logo stuff, then...lights and no screen.

Worked fine for me on my first try. As a matter of fact, I booted into download mode 3 times before actually installing cwm. All 3 times it worked just fine.
 
nope..nothing. the led on the top left and bottom keys are lit up..and thats it. fml. HELP ME FUZZY! :(

Edit: ...i can boot in cwm though!? lol
 
Oh shit we got our first Soft-bricker of metro gs3 in the world congrats. Damn my brother loves the phone too much so I gotta wait until tomorrow night to gget my phone I wish I could help you search around for soft-brick fix for gs3 like download mode and stuff or try to do a hard reset via the button I think you have to press the volume down the home button and plus the power and hold them together and the phone will boot into to recovery menu from there do a reset and see if that helps.
