No, freezing is OK. Freezing just prevents the app from running on its own, but it keeps it on the device, so the rom will pass the check for necessary apps. You can freeze every app on the device and still take the OTA, so no worries there. If you're concerned, just unfreeze the apps, but again, it's not necessary.

How are are you going to intercept the script before it runs? ADB access is disabled by default, and it most likely runs during the boot animation. So please, enlighten me.

So as long as I keep my plan that I pay $175.00 monthly,
1400 minutes Friends and family
3 basic phones,
1 HTC 6900 pay as you go data,
and the only device that I try to keep data working on.
With the new "Share Everything" I own with the GREEDY CORPORATE BASTARDS, they will want $220.00 for 1 F~ing gig of data.
With all that MANDATORY bloat, the data just racks up.
They sure want to stick it to the family plan folks.
I mean line access for a basic phone goes up from $9.99 to $30.00. WTF
Some months my whole family only uses 300min...

Yea I take the bus to work and stream music the whole way there and back. The data we use is less than 10gb, but being unlimited is cheaper than having to pay for the extra data on the share everything plans. It's easier to buy a phone off ebay or other places than it is to get $100-200 off and change off the unlimited plan.

I used 350 mb in 20 minutes today at work. (Had to wifi network was down and had to tether it to a pc i was working on to download a major update that was needed plus 4G is faster than the wifi.

Yes, it should. You most likely never took the V6 update and instead only used someones V6 rom, which does not actually update all the files on your phone, just /boot and /system.
Hey I know this is off topic but is it really that difficult for our idiot politicans to work together to get something done that benefits all of us? Okay, I'm trying to use the LG update tool, and it says an upgrade is available, but doesn't believe me when I plug my phone in like requested. It says an upgrade is available, but the button to choose to upgrade is grayed out.
