flashed the recovery :) ..all keys wrking normally.:) beautiful...m tryng backup.we already consider u a developer :)..(u may edit that in the OP, hehe)

you may try the recovery , and if possible flash a prerooted rom if available (in the near future)

Nice work with the final version itzmiandy. i checked and the nandroid backup is working fine. the fix permissions are also working fine.

I am waiting for a already rooted rom.In that case this cwm will be definitely useful. I have already flashed stock rom with stock cwm. Pl. Someone make stock rom with busybox and su preinstalled.

Any chance we can start on the custom rom bro. I tried a bit with the android kitchen. just added root permissions on the stock rom and rebuilt it. but when i flashed the rom i got an error (status 7).

I am pretty sure i did something wrong. not sure what. Have you tried flashing a rom mate. ?

You should be able to flash it via Android Emulator..

Download the Flash_image from here : flash_image

Copy the file to the System/bin folder.

1. Download the recovery image to the SD card
2. Open the terminal emulator
3. Type SU and hit enter
4 # flash_image recovery /sdcard/xxx.img (Rename xxx with the name of the recovery image)


Reboot to recovery...

You mean you flashed the stock rom through the stock recovery ??

If thats the case, you should be able to root your phone with the unlockroot method.. I dont seem to understand your problem..

we all tried a bit about porting cwm for a87 ,but we failed mostly because source problem but we tried
but u have ported wcm to a87 that to all fixed final version
i do know that me and few of my a87 friends here accept u has a developer ,everything start from beginner but u had a great start bro
 
I hav also been following him from the first day.......i got my phone rooted and now this cwm recovery........all because of itzmiandy......i created account just to thank him ............thank uuuu thank u a lot..............

So many people like hemant,hardik ..tried through team viewer, but unsuccessful. I am definitely telling u that the set is faulty. Becuz, I tried another set with same m/c ,no problem at all. My set's cpu identified as Qualcomm processor. But the the Qualcomm diagnostic driver shows error code 10.
I dont know whether I will be successful or not but I will give a try with SSHDroid tomorrow.
Yes I successfully flash stock rom, link provided by hemanth ,through stock recovery by just placing rom zip on sd card and reboot in cwm.
Guys pl,make a rom with preroot. I have already ported miui for wfs, but need cm7 like rom.Hope someone soon dev such rom.

where is the link?Is it in the very first post as recovery.img file? If so ,how to flash it from fastboot mode?:confused:

If you have fastboot working then, you should be able to flash the recovery

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
 
plz sayme which roms should be tested onthis device .....iwill test them.....i mean can we port any rom(like cyanogen,miui etc) to the device or its specificaly built one.......................

In pc where should I place the recovery.img file,...in the same folder where adb and fastboot exist i.e in platform-tool folder or somewhere else?
 
paste it in the platform tools folder with the other 4 files...where u have the adb.exe and flashboot.exe theen give the comand

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
