Root Cyan Mod 7 wont send pics via text

I am running Cyanagen Mod 7 and have not been able to send a pic via text for months. I can't remember if it even worked at all since i installed the Rom 7 on my Triumph months ago.

Does this sound like a Rom issue, or is it a common problem?
 
Did you try the 10/15 release? Also, this doesn't sound like ROM issue. Check if you have a working 3G connection. MMS works only with 3G. Not with wifi or phone network.

Try to do a nandroid backup, then flash the stock ROM and see if you can send pics via text. I have a feeling you won't be able to. If it doesn't work on the stock ROM then you will be in the right position to call VM and have them fix their end.
 
I'm on a earlier version cm7 and I can send pics to any one but not Verizon customers.. kinda funny I just email those people. Thaught it was worth a mention.

My brother had an issue where he couldn't send texts to people with iPhones on AT&T. He was on T-Mobile at the time.

I don't know why someone wouldn't be able to send MMS to another network. I would have to say that's in the cross network compatability.
 
Are you on the east coast?

I'm on the East Coast with major data issues right now, hopefully due to the Hurricane.

I'm in Philadelphia and have had service for all about 20 minutes since late afternoon yesterday. Expected though as its like a disaster area. Drove to work this morning because its the only place I know with power and most of the street lights are facing the wrong direction, not that they are working. Even worse because 90% of the drivers on the road don't seem to be aware that an out light should be treated as a Stop sign. Looks like we have some long days ahead.
