The wording on that calender does miff me a little ... seems like additional would mean in adition to something else ... wording it additional would seem like a mere notational type of wording, just to let the Verizon people that they will have to perhaps know their facts on that device (perhaps Nexus One)
I think they may after all perhaps have some kind of display that advertises the Nexus One, perhaps not an actual phone but a promo kind of thing(perhaps a big carboard stand with a picture of the phone stating, "Ask us About the Nexus One by Google" thus they would need to know about its specifications.

Here's another side to it. VZ is really trying to keep this device and probably its new name under wraps. Why would they print the name out on a calendar alerting all their employees of the new name, when they know their info leaks like a sieve. Just being the devil's (vzw) advocate!

Very true, but with the name Incredible showing up in the CellBrite updates, wouldn't employees already know this? Or do you think most of them don't pay attention to names they are not looking for?

Sounds like insurance fraud. Best Buy "recycles" smart phones. If i remember correctly, they will give me $65 for my Omnia and its legal! Realize mine isn't even the Omnia II!!!

We use it all the time. Works pretty well but just not that DRM protected stuff won't work.

How many of you (us) addicts are going to be jonsein' for the next top of the line rumored phone after the box for our Incredible isn't sitting on the dining room table anymore? The first step in this addiction is to admit the addiction. Those forward thinkers can already start torturing themselves with the vision of a 2+ghz processor and a wireless HDMI output, etc... etc...
I have conquered the battle of admitting the addiction and have resigned myself to paying the extra for a one year contract on my Incredible so I can start this roller coaster ride again shortly after new year 2011.
Now off to check VZW store locations for where I'll be on the 28th. NOLA_Droid, perhaps you may know of a good spot near the fairgrounds to recommend

Buy your music from amazon.com mp3 store. It's cheaper than itunes and it's DRM free.

Yeah after the HTC stunt I won't be buying any music from iTunes anymore ... I may just use it for management I have like 22.5 GB of music here
Songbird is decent but I don't know about the syncing stuff with it. I know you can use iTunes agent and doubletwist with iTunes though.
I never understood it, if you don't like the iphone, fine, but why do people have to poo-poo things they don't care for.
BUT, let EVERYONE come to Verizon, as it will just build a bigger (and more free mobile to mobile friends) and better network.

I agree with this. I can't see Verizon releasing the N1 before the Incredible.
Got the Droid of Craigslist in January for $325, been a ton of fun, and held me over nicely. Will get the Incredible, and should be able to sell the droid for at least 200-250.

You can take the DRM music in itunes and use itunes to burn it to a cd and then use a different program to rip it. That will get rid of the DRM for ya

Indeed the employees know this but if you read between the lines, THEY ARE NOT USING THE NAAAAME Incredible... so the calendar tells me that the Incredible is something else but they want the name to remain secret!!

Happens alot to me. Does anyone else have problems with getting a signal in a mall or a large store... or even a brick house? Seriously, I have yet to be able to receive a phone call or even text from the grocery store. I could back when phones were analog. I have seen people talking on cell phones in that same store. *sigh*
depends on the area.. are you with vz? but no, it doesn't happen to me. it used to before I switched to vz. i'm in NJ.
I've always wondered how people like this live their lives, run their businesses, treats others, or have low life jobs and are generally low class people.
Regardless of anything else, definitely low class. Most of those with any sense of decency wouldn't mention this in public, even if they did act this way privately. He doesn't even realize how decent people look down on this.

For large collections, try Media Monkey. It's available on the web and has excellent media management capabilities. I've used it for several years now, and it's very good.
