i would like to contribute to this forum and offer a custom rom, but first i need a copy of someone CWM backup, or just a system pull via adb if at all possible :D

I can, how to send it??? In a PM I guess? I'll pull the CWM backup off my sd card and send it to you.....

You can upload it to a dropbox or 4shared account. I'm not sure about 4shared but dropbox is available in the playstore.

This forum seem a bit quiet for a verizon's phone.

does anyone have a system dump or CWM backup of the GB firmware? i can make a temp ROM w/ themes for everyone untill the ICS update gets full root..

I think I do have a CWM backup of the GB. ICS does have full root, just has a locked bootloader that keeps us from doing any mods to the rom, ie you can't install a custom recovery, you can't remove apps from the rom, you can't integrate updates into the rom, etc.... So until someone gets the bootloader unlocked we're stuck for now......
 
Can someone please reupload the gingerbread stock ROM? I really want to roll back my firmware but I can not find the download anywhere.
 
so... i would really appreciate a copy of the stock system if anyone gets a chance? :D lol like an adb pull of system or a copy of a backup? i promise i wont take any personal information
