never mind.... I had UL'd a custom pic, and found out that's different than the custom avatar...

all good now.
 
I am the original poster of the pics and they are real. They were taken on my bb storm. I was just trying to help. The blurriness of one picture and clarity of another can be attributed to my crappy phone. Was just trying to help because I have been looking and waiting forever for an actual date. Just wanted to let others in on it. Would be no proof if I said "release date is the 28th. Trust me, I know." I was just trying to help others with something I happened to find. As others have stated, could have been something that manager did for their own knowledge. It was only at one of the two Verizon Corporate stores that we clean. Trust me, I looked everywhere at the other store for the same calendar to hopefully find a matching one. In any case, believe me or not, I really don't care. Wanted to just help. If I find anything else I will let you know. Going back tonight. Will try to take a pic of the whole board it was on if I can--(again, crappy phone)
 
I never really feel the need to post, but I figured some of you would get a laugh out of this so here goes:

28 days ago I got an Eris without knowing about the incredible. I then joined these forums, got sucked into this quasi-addiction, and have been waiting. In about 20 minutes, I am going with my Mom to the vzw store to exchange my Eris for a Pre or Pixi, assuming my Mom wants one. I have been trying to get her into smartphones for about 6 months, and she finally caved and is willing to give one a chance. As soon as the Incredible drops, I am giving her the Palm, and using her upgrade to get the incredible. Very convoluted, but it works.

What does the info look like for other phones in that database? Perhaps newly released phones like the LG Cosmos? (Can't figure out how to look up other phones).

Thanks. Just so you know, a lot of the people here are skeptical. It is not a character judgment of you, just a sort of "there are pics on the Internet" deal, because as Nash showed a couple of pages back, no digital pic can really be trusted fully unless you know its source and trust them. Since very few if any of us know you, we cannot say we implicitly trust you, and thus we have a fair amount of skepticism vis-a-vis your pictures. However, I am pretty sure the majority of us are thankful you posted them.

Here's the link for the Droid. To be honest the way I found the incredible was to just keep counting up the numbers at the end of the URL!!!

By the way Verizon names their images, we should see the image at https://infodoc.verizonwireless.com/Infomanager/images/imeg_htc_incredible_images.jpg but unfortunately it's not there.

Will do...I think its odd that people think I would want to make something fake and make the release date the end of the month. I am working with a BB STORM! I want the phone here today. I"m tired of this piece of turd I have to work with

Yes, I totally agree with that.

And just for the record, I NEVER said that I thought that picture of that calendar was fake. NEVER. And I don't think it is fake. All I was saying is that, with technology as advanced as it is, something like that COULD be faked. Easily. However, I don't believe it is. And as far as the words "witch hunt," I don't know if I'd call it that exactly. Everyone is entitled to their opinion if they think it's fake or not and it's not just baseless. Some people saw some possible misspellings on that calendar picture. So, it's OK if they think it is possibly fake. I, however, don't think it is. However, I just think we should all keep a salt shaker near our computers until we get OFFICIAL information from Verizon. Everything else is open for discussion and could "possibly" be faked or photoshopped. Personally, I wouldn't call it a witch hunt though. Again, I don't think that picture was photoshopped.

Oh I understand. I would be skeptical as well. I hope that I am wrong. I want the phone sooner than the 28th or 29th whenever it would be available according to that.

Thank you lajboys and I truly believe the calender in question was probably made by someone at that particular store for their own benefit. Please understand that we all all just a little gun shy since the april fools prank. Appreciate anything you can find for us:)

I did a Google search for infomanager because i was trying to gather information on the calendar posted earlier today. Did some investigating and some trial and error. Try to Google 'site:infodoc.verizonwireless.com' and you will see some results, one of which is the Droid. Like I mentioned previously, I just started trying URL's by counting up the number at the end of the URL. Eventually came across the Incredible!

hmmmmm strange. If you click the "Programing" Tab uptop the is a couple more mentions of it also. suck as this quote>

"Note: The HTC Incredible requires OTA Programming be performed. If an OTA has not been performed, by pressing the SEND Key the device takes you to a screen that states "Press Send to activate your device" and has an option for "Emergency Call" by tapping Emergency Call on screen, you can then proceed to step 2 below."

And how did you know that the Incredible would come after the Droid?
