Team Osiris presents:

[JB] The Serenity OC Kernel

I am not responsible for any damage you may do to your phone.
This oc has been tested many many times, but going past stock levels could cause damage.
You have been warned!

All older versions of the kernel are no longer supported. If you are on ICS, its time to upgrade :)

THIS DOESN'T WORK FOR ICS- Android version 4.0.4 !!!!
or for Public Mobile phones(still on ICS)

Questions are for the threads only. I will not respond to help questions in pm.
All that information should be open discussion. [/B]

Featuring:
All new 3.4 JB kernel Thanks to ZTE :)

Instructions:
Download zip and place on sdcard. Install in cwm under, install zip from sdcard. You may need to clear cache from any CPU control app you are using being that cwm doesn't clear cache.

Recommended apps:
These are the two I tried. I use CPU master pro. I haven't tried the free version. I wouldn't recommend setcpu for anything. I've had many issues with that app.

I don't have the sequent any more but I've been watching forums.

So I take it return back to stock is working?

If so I may be directing a friend here, he has a sequent and was wanting to root, and I told him hold off until they get it where you can unroot back to stock.

thanx dtm, and thanx for allowing me and animus to be some testers lol. Animus sorry your phone had some temp issues but glad things worked out in the end. Excited about these features your talking about adding dtm. tty soon.

Does anybody have a copy of cwm recovery?
the link for it on "testers required" thread is not working!

As I mentioned from another post, using this kernel disables my microphone function. It will start working again if I flash back to the stock kernel that is also provided here.

Same here. Reinstalling stock boot.img fixed the issue. Glad you got it working again. Thanks for the update. We will try to solve the problem as soon as we can.

Yep confirmed, with this OC kernel the mic is disable.

Sorry dtm, you are correct. It's the kernel source zte released that is the issue, not any of the hard work you put in. My bad...

We will fix it. This is just a missing piece of code. I'll add to post 2 as a known issue

Installing now. Will report later.
Thanks dtm!

Edit: it's working..., made a couple of calls and a voice recording and it worked, no problems :)

Also seeing more governors included on this one!!! :D

These are just test release builds. If you look at the file name you will see the test I'm on.
Soon there will be a full release build with a corresponding github link for that fancy gpl thingy ;)

Yeah, I see that you're on test 10 now,
