Root ESN, MEID, ROOT problems

So, as much as I enjoyed my MT...I was given an iPhone as a gift and am now currently using it.

Since my mom has a crappy Kyocera, I decided to do her a solid and give her my old, rooted Triumph. I flashed the stock mod and it looks like regular stock Triumph, exactly how it is when you first purchase it. The recovery thing is still on it though.

I DID NOT STEAL THIS TRIUMPH I SWEAR, but for whatever reason, when my mom tried to make the switch, virgin mobile said it was reported lost or stolen by its previous owner...which makes no sense since that was me and I bought the phone brand new from best buy, and they even activated the phone at the store.

So im left wondering what in the world could have happened?

My Triumph worked to the second before my iPhone was activated. I have not used it since for anything. It's just been in the box for about a month now.

Could the Root ruin the esn/meid???

Any other ideas?

Cuz as of right now. All the phone is good for is nothing. HELP. Again, I did not steal the phone...I am going to best buy to see if they can do anything about this.

Is it still attached to your account? Is the iPhone with Virgin? Is the iPhone a virgin mobile iPhone? Assuming the iPhone is Virgin's the Triumph should be detached from your account. The Lost/Stolen may just be a flag for, the phone is still in use. I would call them from your account and ask what's going on?

Do you still have a clockworkmod recovery of the original firmware like all the guides suggest? If so, go back to that? Does the activation thing go through the process of working? I think the issue is more with Virgin that the Rom though.

Under settings, look up your meid and note that down. Then turn off the phone and look behind the battery. See if they're the same.

The MTDEV Unroot ROM doesn't change the partitions that hold that info, but I would just make sure.

Call them and activate. Simple as that. Their customer service people are nice.

That is..... if your phone is ...... legit.... of course.....
