Root Deleting old backups: help?

I have like 5 backups made just kinda sitting there for no reason. I made them in cwm recovery. Any help on deleting them? Maybe what sdcard path they would be in

If you have ROM manager, go into it, scroll all the way down to manage backups, tap and hold down which backup you would like to delete. :)

Rom Manager should just be banned from this phone whether any purpoe you have for it. There are several ways to delete them. If your on CWM6 you can use the recovery to delete them.

Okay lol. Were you using CWM6 tho? Cuz if you are, you will have to delete what's in the Blobs folder. That's where all the actual data is being stored and what takes up the most space. Which to avoid deleting all your backups, you would need to just use the delete backup option in the actual recovery.

I believe I'm using 5.0.2.8 ??? Or something along those lines. It looks just like the recovery I had for my OV. but there are no delete options in recovery except for full formats. Well maybe there were I never aktually went into the paths... but all the dates on my back ups were set in 1980 for some reason lol... I was like damn image what we would have now if we had this technology in the 80's. Sorry I strayed off topic. But I deleted all my back ups except the most recent, made a new back up, wiped my phone and flashed the ics elite rom. Then deleted the previous (before one just made) backup. I'm probably going to wipe everything once we get a stable cm c:

Only Cwm6 has that option and it is under Backup option. But nahh your good then. If you don't have cwm6 then you wont have the blobs folder :]

You can. The point of it's different backups, is that after the first backup is made, it makes it easier to have several backups. That way they don't all take up a lot of room, they all share the same stuff, but newer backups will have say newer stuff. Any updated apps, new apps, new data, messages anything at all. It just uses the old backup to check if it's still the same as what's being backed up, and if it is, it skips it. That saves space. It does take forever to backup the first time tho, it's ICS themed. But if you just like having one backup for each Rom you have on your phone i'd just stay on cwm5. That's what I'm on. I went back to cwm5. Didn't like cwm6 lol.
