Really getting irritated by TRWP. I load up the rom, the gapps, flash, go back, load up titanium, flash. System boots, no gapps, no titanium. Every time. Seems it don't cue right or something.

And pressing home don't wake the phone

Why does this phone have such problems with roms!?

Okay, looks like I got things set up:

Rom: Liquid Smooth 2.0 RC7
Kernel: Lean 3.0.49

Got Set CPU (was wondering when I was going to get a chance to use this purchase again) set to Max 1728mhz min 384mhz.

Hope this really extends my battery life. I can go for 2 days with out charging on stock. With CNA I only got a day. Lets see about this one.

Hey brother,

I haven't looked at the root scene for the GS3 but I was thinking about your battery life problems.

You know how the GNex was optimized to run Stock Android? I think the same could be said for the GS3. Maybe it is safe to say that it has been optimized for TouchWiz? Have you tried a/are there ROM/ROMs based on TouxhWiz? It seems you are looking for a Stock Android experience on the GS3 but maybe that doesn't fit your use case for battery life.

Just some thoughts I had for ya.

That is a possibility. I will run this rom for a couple days and see how the battery does. If it lacks like CNA did, I will just suck it up and flash back to stock. Not a huge issue :)

Ironically, My sisters S3 said the RC3 of liquid like doubled her battery life. I went to CNA after RC3 caused my phone to black out and not come back on! I had to pull the battery.

I do know right now the 4.1.2 RC7 and Nova launcher and slight 200mhz overclock this thing is snappy!

If this don't work, well then an official JB update should not be too much longer. If it comes to be that roms are going to be a problem I will just have to find a way to flash the original recovery to the device, root keeper and hope that works.

Oh, yeah, I think there are stock touch wiz roms, I will need to look into things more. Time to stuff the charger in my pocket tomorrow :p
The age of phone roms may be coming to a close

Don't say that. You should never say that. Economically challenged. Lol

As long as you have a mind, hands and feet...You have the ability to make money, therefore you can't be broke.

I should have a grand in my hand before night fall. That should feed the troops for a few days. :D
