I guess I will just nandroid back to previous set up. I restored my Widgets and keyboard.

Really bummed out. Were is the Android freedom in this?

I mean I understand roms are going to be somewhat buggy but I never really had this many issues before. It could be a rom and software issue because my sis is running the same rom on the red S3 an no reported issues.

Sounds like a bad flash AJ. Redownload.. clear it all out and go back to stock. Flash the Tom again and if you use TB try not to restore data also. That usually screws things up on ROMs. Not sure why though.

Hey Hulk.... Can you fix my sewing machine ? lol

Good afternoon all !

Iono... ask trebs secretary. She and rach ran away together last I heard.

Speaking of the devil... Mrs Treb is away, and no Treb all day? Last I saw him, he was hanging in the shower....

Hmmmmm, :dontknow:

I think Hulk, Everyone is cheating on us. Playing in a new hole maybe ? Well, all I can say is....

Time for wine !

It feels good to sit :)

Finally off.

Now I can sit and figure out what to do with Mr S3. Perhaps look into some touch wiz roms (if any?) Or perhaps just nandroid back to previous slightly modified stock.

How's it going getting your phone in a more manageable working order?

Shopping for a blender now....

:p

Decided to say "it was a fluke" for now and leave it as is. I do believe I may have found a Touch wiz "stock rom" for the device I may try to flash on my next day off.

Perhaps I need to wait until an official Jelly Bean OTA to show up on a GSM version that has touch wiz that can be tinkered with by a Dev.

Man, I read your posts and sure feel bad for all your S3 romming woes. I certainly don't have such bad luck with my S3. I've had a few buggy roms, that's for sure, but usually I find a good one that treats me right fairly quickly.

Samsung phones tend to be resilient and are darn near impossible to completely hard brick. You should try flashing a pure, clean, stock image with Odin (requires Windows) and then go back to romming again, just to start clean from square one. Often when messing with roms, I find weird glitches, bugs, or even "echoes" of stuff that was part of a past ROM, but shouldn't appear in a new or different ROM. The cleaner the slate you put a new ROM onto, the better.
