The "Calender" issue could easily be solved ... the guy stands the calender next to an in store Verizon display or something like that, takes a few pictures in different places and its over ... I actually think its real myself, looks like someone inside the place made it for that store and it was done quickly and perhaps added stuff at the last minute before printing it ... who knows.

The problem with the calendar is that it contains information that no other store manager in the entire country knows or has been told. So unless we've actually found a store run by a verified psychic, the information just isn't very credible.

You could also say that you would have to be psychic to know exactly what is in the head of "every store manager in the country"

Caprica was good! It's the first season so you gotta introduce all the stuff. 2nd season should be awesome.

I buy online. There's always the worry-free guarantee, so I have no qualms.

Speaking of "fracking?" You are a BSG/Caprica fan, too? I've been watching Caprica but am unsure if I can hold out with it. The jury is out on Caprica for me.

fyi, underclocked has been disproved. It will be a full 1 ghz. :)

I am wondering if it has been disproved, one testers phone was running at full speed but did any other source say it to? That phone might not have been the final configuration there really is no way to know until it launches or is announced.

we'll all know for sure soon enough. as I understand it, the evergreen thread has the latest specs.

viperboy, what does "no pricing or launch date in the systems" mean in terms of time frame for release? Whats the minimum time it usually takes to go from "no launch date in system" to an actual launch?

I have received a company-wide email sent out regarding a new device and all systems updated within minutes. The email & all relevant internal web pages are timed to come out at the same time. Its like they plug in a Christmas tree and all the lights come on at once. A release can take as little as 48 hours from then - theoretically. (Given inventory arrives the day of/day after internal announcement.)

Haven't seen those.

@viperboy

You know, you could always PM a trusted forum member with links to helpful web pages, and they could post the info, thereby relieving you of the possibility of getting in trouble.

Well, the internal stuff is just that... internal. No way to get the info on here safely and I won't be risking my job taking pictures.

As other people have said, they are test phones. From what I am hearing, it will be underclocked. I hope they decide against that, but that is what I was told.

With some devices, we might not know pricing and launch date til a few days before it launches.

Does this mean you'll be getting an e-mail tonight announcing a VZ phone?

HTC Desire doesn't have 3g support in the US. So no 3g if you get the phone.

I like the HTC Desire with the physical keys as well

Have to disagree here somewhat. All we have are expectations. Nothing says that Verizon couldn't have decided the battery life sucked at 1 Ghz and underclocked it to improve battery life. It's a very easy OS tweak for them to make before release.

They are the latest rumored specs. Huge difference from confirmed. We have no idea what production devices might suprise us with.

Ok.. I thought evergreen was as authoritative as we have. I guess I was wrong. No biggie.
