Root [ROM] Mobster/Barebones V1.6 --- 10/17/12( NEW BLUE THEME!!!)

I really think you should try the mac kernal. By far the best performance and stability I have ever seen. Tons of features, and can oc to 1.9

that's great u can get to 1.9 but why would you?just to drain the battery the rom is already extremely smooth and responsive if anything under clock/under volt it you see the same performance.

I have to get permission from dev. And JMZ kernel allows yoy TO OV to 1.9 as well. But it probably isnt that stable

MAC kernel works great with this rom I use kernel tuner to keep both cores on. I really like sweep to wake.

+1 here is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1866375

Maybe you can test then ask permission. I only overclock to 1.8 and use smartass v2 which gradually increaces your core speed as you need it. I have multiple profiles also, using a battery saver one that is at 800 max, 1 core, and conservative saves a ton of battery.

imo opinion MAC kernel ofers no advantage over JMZ kernel. Plus I hate the name. it reminds me of APPLE

I've tried both, and I prefer JMZ.
MOBS Power kernel is fine, but I wish it had option for a few other governors.

BTW: Did a reinstall of ROM and still can't get ringtones to stick with sense.

still no permission to Use MAC kernel. I am gonna go with JMZ. Should be up before Midnight. No promises. Life Happens. And this is not my JOB

Sorry I looked again and found this instructions, hopefully will help someone else.

Open txt message app> Settings > Multimedia Messages (MMS) > Connection Settings
Change Name to : V-Mobile MMS
Change MMSC to: http://mmsc.vmobl.com:8088/mms?

I tested sending an mms to myself and to a friend and both worked receiving and sending as well.
