It's not the Rom but the apps that are the cause of the terrible battery life on your phone. One of some of these are hogging the system resources and are causing the bad battery life. I'm just not sure which ones.

Which ones? I had all of these (except the ones that are root specific) running on the stock rom with no battery issues.

According to the task manager is doesn't show anything running and when I went into the settings all it said was the display was consuming the most battery but that's set to auto. However, I just installed Advanced Task Killer and it shows a lot of apps running in the background (so why does Task Manager say there are none? What's even the point of this app?).

Of all the ROMs I have used, Barebones gives the best Battery life. And, in real life applications it is smooth.

Really do appreciate the ROMs you've made. I have found them most easy to adapt to my way of doing things.
 
Excuse my stupidity, but what are the differences between this and unSenseable? Is it just the fluff is gone?
 
Actually not Stupid at all. This one has sense. unSENSEable does not. I also didn't tweak the post boot script and build prop nearly as much in this ROM as I did in unSENSEable. Slightly different theme
