Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Aopk or CM?

Ok Couple of questions! I've been kind of wanting to try AOPK ROMS. I understand the difference and like where AOPK ROMS are going. But my Questions are:

1. Can I theme the Baked Rom? I keep hearing about these "Inverted" apps and nothing works if you don't use them. So is theming going to break the ROM?

2. Can you run the Baked Rom not Inverted?

3. Does the Baked Rom automatically update using Goo? Or do you have to wipe everything and start over between updates?

4. I like the Accuweather widget in the Stock Rom is there anyway to bring that over to another ROM?

5. Dammit PG!!! You got anything Planned for us?

all these roms are based off cm the only real decision here to make is which one to try first im using black bean 6 rom mainly as a tester ive also used aokp and if u ask me im sorry but its hard to choose which one i like best i really think shabby and chiwen have done a great job with their roms they both are build on jelly bean 4.1.2. what ive done on my phone was installed all 3 roms and created recoveries for all 3 plus 1 recovery for my stock ics rom.

yes, its easiest to use a tmobile theme, you can install em from the market and just swap them on the fly.

2. Can you run the Baked Rom not Inverted?

the rom itself is blacked out, you can use either gapps though.

3. Does the Baked Rom automatically update using Goo? Or do you have to wipe everything and start over between updates?

no, nothing automatically updates. when blackbean7 is pushed out you will have to download the zip off their website and flash it (no wiping required). from there you can get all future updates from OTA updater app.

try grabbing the apk and seeing if it works? i doubt it due to touchwiz crap, but only way youll know is by trying.

he is being lazy :P

hope i answered your questions :)

also from the content of your thread this isnt an AOKP VS CM thread, you asked a lot about blackbean which isnt AOKP. they are their own separate rom :P

lol @ Shabby :P

I have helped behind the scenes on this one thus far. Working on a deodexed stock rom so all the themers have something to play with, just got to get it to install lol.

As far as something major from me, I think its all been covered lol. I might do a kernel, but I doubt I can top what cm has already done or any of the already skilled S3 devs have done. We shall see tho, I need to get some of my other projects done first tho b4 I take on anything else major. ;)

Was wondering if AOKP or CM are working Perfectly?? or still have a few glitches?? I was looking at both and they seem to have a MMS problem? i ROMed all of my past cells but just wondering. im confused on which one to pick.

this is a noob question but what the difference of CM Nightly and Stable , im downloading both before i install.. thanks plz Nightly just released 11-18 and stable is since 11-13.. just wondering. is one better then the other??

nightly is updated, well... every night
Stable is a tested version with everything known working, for those not so interested on living on the bleeding edge.
Why two versions?
New features and bug fixes are pushed to nightlies first, as they may introduce new bugs, or some kind of instability. Once enough feedback about the stability of all those changes are received, then they are included in the next stable release update.

So, in theory, nightlies is unstable, since it's always "in development" and stable is only updated once it is KNOWN that the added features and/or bug fixes will not interfere with proper operation of the device.

if the cm guys lived in japan and did all their updates at night would it still be considered nightly updates or day time updates in america?

I've been waiting for them to upgrade the ROMS to 4.2, but it's been really quiet nobody's not even talking about it.

you do realize its not us that ports 4.2 right? take aokp for instance when 4.2 is merged chiwen will proceed to repo sync and grab the latest stuff and then enter teh command to compile. since no one has merged in 4.2 stuff yet, no one is gunna have a 4.2 rom...

i can assure you as someone who has a galaxy nexus its not all that amazing..
