Root Nexus 7 wouldn't recognize my Evo Wifi Tether..

Hello - I have a Evo 4g running the Nitrous rom.. wifi tether has been working great - laptop hooks onto it fine, ipad works fine.. however I just received my nexus 7 last night and it seems not to recognize my wifi tether.. it hooks up to wifi at home and at work.. but just would not recognize my evo wifi tether.. anyone face this issue? Any solution to this?

try one of these other wifi apps and see if they work:Downloads - android-wifi-tether - Wireless Tether for Root Users - Google Project Hosting

also have you tried the hacked hotspot?
 
I wasn't aware that nitrous was one of those roms with hacked hotspots ha.. i didn't want to risk using it and being surprised wit my next bill.. i'll try that and see
