Help Built in alarm tones location?

Im trying to find where some of the built in alarm sounds are on the phone. In particular the 'Smart Alarm' sound 'light' as id like to use this also as the main alarm, however it is only visible in the menu for smart alarm and not th main alarm, and i cant find it anywhere on the phone so i can copy it somewhere else myself.

Anyone know where to look or how to get the 'smart alarm' sounds?

Thanks

ScrattyRat - BTW you don't have to root the phone or get access to system folders to add alarms or rintones into the selection lists that pop up..unless you were just trying to extract one that was on the phone already?

To Add just create these folders and add files to the.
\media\audio\alarms
\media\audio\notifications
\media\audo\ringtones
\media\audio\ui

If anyone has the stock standard nokia type sms sound beep-beep beep-beep, then I point me in the right direction. It is so standard that sites assume you don't want it perhaps , but it;s not on the SGS2!

thank you buddy for this tone , if not a problem can u also guide me the easiest way to root and unroot the SGS2 , i dont want to loose my warranty and need to have backup of my original ROM

Hmmm...

My s2 is from phones 4 you and I've never rooted it nor put on any custom roms, (currently on 2.3.4) yet I just installed an unzip app called androzip which quite happily let me go up to the system level and access these ringtones in the system folder and allowed me to copy them to my external sd card..!

Should this NOT be possible to do then if unrooted?!

Cheers.

A long time ago but... does anyone have the smart alarm media files from TW gingerbread?
Any idea how to make them show up in TW Jellybean?

Most of them are already in Jelly Bean, and Jelly Bean has made it very easy to add more ringtones/notifications/alarms.

When you go to select an alarm tone, you get an option to add them as well.

Check the attachment, these were the alarms from my old phone running GB.

Hi, this was driving me crazy too & the only fix I found was to clear a defaults for media storage, download chirps again, download E.S Explorer, open Twitter, select E.S Explorer instead of media storage when asked in notification sound settings, search in download, find the downloaded chirps file & select it. worked lovely. problem solved. Nice one Twitter/Samsung great job I don't think! I have Samsung S7 Edge btw
