Camera has failed.
In portrait mode there is a horizontal line about a 3rd way up from bottom of screen.stays in same place is you flip into landscape.
S pen rattles in slot and nib of pen seems loose.
Phone is going back to clove tomorrow for replacement who have been very good.

My phone has all of a sudden stuck on the lockscreen. I recently downloaded, advanced task manager and someone said to put it on and a setting that kills apps when the screen goes off however now, i click the button the lockscreen pops up and you cannot swipe to unlock for some reason. Yet i can still drag down the task bar. Don't want to but might have to take the battery out. I am unistalling that app if i can get back on it...

Hi, I am new to Note 2 but have experienced the following issue 2x in 2 days

"The side vertical bar" seem to disappear for no reason. It somehow reappeared again automatically after some usage within the day 2 days back. This morning after re-starting my device, it disappeared again

Please help to advise how to get it back up or to prevent it from disappearing again?

The one issue that isn't really issue, but programmed into the software is the phone waking up on every text message, when the phone is in standby. Absolutely no reason Samsung shouldn't have given an option to turn that off.

problems: after a month of having it and DLing some apps S Note hung. good thing fixable by restarting. Uninstalled then installed some apps. so far so good.

Wifi won't connect to my usual router. it used to work fine then it won't connect. kept saying poor signal while the router is right beside me. problem experienced the same time as above.

so i guess it was due to some app. I think the app that made it hang and messed with the wifi connection is Precious Notes. I've since uninstalled that and am so happy to discover you can lock your notes in S Note.

wishing they included the choco cooky font in S note tho.

There is absolutely no reason to run a task manager on this phone to kill apps. Do yourself a favor and take it off, then see if your lockscreen is still stuck.

Sprint Note II user here: I am stock, not rooted and I have ZERO issues DLing any app. My Note II has never hung and never had to restart for any reason to date. No issues with any WiFi (and we have some wonky wifi in the office!).

Not sure about other carrier devices, but the Sprint model DOES include Choco Cooky as a font choice.

I have a galaxy note i717 after unrooting my phone is was getting stuck on the second samsung logo intro screen, now it gets to the second logo screen then starts the boot process over and over! What could this be and is there currently a fix?

My problem (that may not have been a problem for some) is resolved! No more screen turning on for every text message! Here's to hopefully adding even MORE battery life to the G-Note 2!

When I sweep the S Pen upward the Quick command screen appears however whatever command preconfigured command I draw it doesn;t execute. Did you try restarting your phone?

yes I saw the video but not stated my problem my problem is that the charging LED is fluctuating sometimes light orange and sometimes dark red all this during charging process

This is funny. I've forgotten some things I've done then I either remember how I did it or Google to figure it out. Afterwards I sit here thinking...really!

Brand new to the forum. Picked up a Note 2 through ATT and am having an issue with the device freezing when loading any type of video. I am having to pull the battery to resolve the issue. Any suggestions. I have loaded my entire life on to the damn thing and are dreading having to take it back for a new one.

weird issue with multi-tasking. I had the regular browser and Chrome on split screens and then tried popup video... Phone soft reset. No biggie, but weird.
