I'm returning my Seido Surface case. It's not grippy enough and it took both me and my husband 20 minutes to get that freakin case off!!! Totally not worth it.

I'm planning on getting a Samsung Note 2 (white) when Verizon launches them next week.

That being said I'm trying to find a low-profile case for it ahead of time. That being said my questions are these:

To those of you who have the "flip" covers, are they annoying?
Can you fold them behind the phone while in use?
Do you find that they get in your way?
Would you recommend something that protects the backs/sides over the flip cover?

I don't know if I'll like the ones with the closures because I can see that thing getting annoying and in the way while I'm holding it. I can always get a screen protector if I need one so the shells work for me too.

I'm just really torn on what to purchase.

Theoretically, yes. But realistically, no.

If I need to ask another person for help in order for me to get a case off, it's an automatic no-go for me. I don't like cases that super hard to take off. I felt like I was going to break my phone trying to get that case off.
 
I ordered this one off of Amazon last week & just got it. While I don't have my phone YET, I think this case will work just fine until I find something I like better. I was afraid it would be the sticky rubbery stuff that doesn't slide in your pocket very well & collects lint. It is rubbery but it is NOT like that. Most of the back side is a smooth rubber & the rest is a glossy rubber but still smooth. If I drop it the case will cushion the fall just fine. For $4 & no shipping...it's a winner!

I am really liking the flip cover. I can see what scandalex was saying about feeling like you r only holding the cover. For work proposes, it's perfect, but definitely won't be my daily choice away from work.

Those nillken ones (2nd and 3rd) are awful. They offer no extra protection and make the phone harder to hold / more slippy. I ordered a brown one by mistake, and then ordered a black. By the time they arrived they turned out to be horrid. The supergets one on the left is great. Very grippy and seems to offer adequate protection for now.

Pre-ordered the otterbox commuter. Just waiting for it to come now.

I'm getting another Molang case. The one I posted on the first page is my green mint Molang flip case but I want just a hard back cover one.

@miss_vickies - the colors I've seen are brown, pink, red, the minty green and black. :) there is an orange one but the design is different from the brown one up there

I can't wait to get my phone so I can use it.

Yeppers! They have several other colors. Just type in "Molang Galaxy Note 2 Case" in the search bar and you'll see a lot of them. :)

I am so excited for it to get here (and uhh, of course the phone too)!

Yeah, I was wondering what you thought of that flip one. Since you're going for just a shell like I bought, I'm assuming I made the right choice then! Haha.
