Is there a way to change the text "Tagged" that appears on the Holo Locker lockscreen and status bar? You can do this in CM roms by accessing the CM menu in settings, but there doesn't appear to be a menu like this available.
I skimmed over the thread and didn't see an answer to this. Can you tell me exactly what was left out of the slim version? Thanks. Looking forward to finally trying this Rom.
Agreed. Make it easier on yourself. I have no problems spending 5 minutes removing some apps with TiB. Even if you just wanted to provide a list of apps that can safely be removed, I'm not sure how intensive it is to make an Aroma-like installer, like your talking.
Lol, that's what it is. It's Aroma, I'm just having some problems with my if/then statements.
When will this come out??
When it's ready.
And Hashtag, when you're ready to don't forget to update your theme chooser as well. I'll get back to you on the chmod - unless you've already figured that out and included it with Aroma.
I won't forget been super busy, I'll get to it, I promise! Updating java code takes a bit longer than most stuff, lol.
Apps that I consider to be bloatware. ie-google books, deskclock, google music, stuff like that.
Tagged 1.2 will be coming out sometime within the next week or two, as soon as I can figure out the problem with some buggy code. There will not be separate "slim" and "full" versions, there will be a list of apps that you pick and choose from. This happens in clockworkmod, before the ROM is even installed, and it's done from a touch-enabled gui. There will also be a good sized list of available modifications(such as removing nfc, fully compatible beats audio, and other stuff). It's all together and working good, but I changed something with the cwm installer at like 3:00 in the morning a week ago, and the next day it wasn't working and I can't remember what I did, lol. Something I've had trouble with while doing tagged, was deciding where to draw the line between performance and features, so I'm just going to let you guys draw that line instead
I noticed that the sd card read ahead cache tweek in /system/etc/init.d/17speedy_modified doesn't seem to be working. At least on my phone.
echo "2048" > /sys/devices/virtual/bdi/179:0/read_ahead_kb; # Set sd card read ahead cache size
When I check that file after boot, it is still at 128.
Has anyone else noticed this issue?
I'm using Tagged 1.0.5 on an LG Optimus Elite.
Right now I'm using the SD-Booster app to preserve the setting after boot, but I'd prefer to not need the app, or to have to manually edit it on every boot.
Also, if anyone is using Sleipnir, could someone check to see if it preserves that setting after powering off and back on?
Other things I tried were making separate scripts as suggested on other sites, but the setting wasn't preserved then either.
Anyway, I still think Tagged is awesome.
Hey guys here is a black mms theme that I have been using for a while. It's one of the options I've been missing from CM. Just flash it with cwm.

I've attached it to this post or you can get it in the original thread. It should work on all 2.3.7 stock based roms.
I'm curious though, say if we dislike it how do when uninstall? Do we just go back to a nandroid backup?
